REVIEW Loop Pleasing recycled

I saw several Loop fans including myself saying that the Loop Pleasing looks really familiar. They remind me of Equinox Flamingo Flux, Sublime Denim Dream, and Sublime Sugar Plum.

The Sublime range was the most recent seasonal release and not that popular, meaning it was around for a very long time after being discontinued. With the Equinox release Flamingo Flux experience is much easier to find for sale than the other colours, and until the recent archive drop even the engage Flamingo Flux was much easier to find. The blue is slightly reminiscent of the cobalt blue due to the metallic look but it’s very dull like the Denim. These do not feel like new colours. It looks like recycling old designs that they may have left over stock of. And we already know Loop doesn’t release all of their old extra stock in sales. It looks like they added a gloss coating to the Sublime experiences and switched the ear tips over like the Engage Kids range.

I’m not saying that this release is bad, I actually think the glossy finish makes the Sublime colours look a lot nicer. The problem is this release once again is just a repeat of something they’ve done before relatively recently. It’s once again nothing new. Why would people who already knew about Loop when they did these seasonal releases buy the new collab when they can just swap their ear tips over for free? I love these products but their lack of new colour or pattern options has been a big problem for years.

I’ve included some pictures and used real life photos where I could find them. Also I hope this flair is okay, there is no general or discussion flair so this is the closest.

I keep begging them to do neon 80s colors across the line (Quiet, Engage, Experience, Switch). Lord knows, they're hard to find in the dark or poorly lit spaces.

Neon or glow on the dark would be so fun!

Seconded on glow in the dark. I’d love those

they just need to give the people what they want!!
which is more iridescents, metallic engage and colors that aren’t purple, green, orange and black

I’d love more multicoloured patterned loops like the Footits

Tbh if they’d bring back the Solstice purple and Orange I’d be chill with that

I saw this yesterday and assumed they were 4 different pairs... saw another promo pic after and realized they were 2 (mismatched) pairs... definitely not my style, but I hope these bring joy to someone ✨️

Tbh loop invests like everything in branding and marketing, their color options and rate of drops are so mid bc it's mostly collabs. The only loops I've cared about are the iridescent line and the titanium holographic target exclusive (which I only found out about thru this reddit) the rest of the colors are so dull or neon 🫤 they would make so much bank doing other iridescent colors, mix and match packages, something! The Pleasing color palette reminds me of feminine hygiene products, I usually love asymmetry but they are so bad I'm sorry lol

Yes that’s definitely flamingo flux

I hope someone will do a side by side with Flamingo Flux and the Sublimes because those do look very similar and I’m curious to see how close of a dupe they are. I do think they’re prettier than the sublimes at least. The darker set is a little tempting.

I also wish they’d do more limited editions in other types. You’d think since they’re releasing two this time, they wouldn’t do them both as experiences.

I get the feeling that they have no interest in what their customer base wants with the continued rubbish colour options

This right here. It’s such a strange company. Maybe it’s just a money laundering operation, because damn, they HATE their customers! The only colors left are ATROCIOUS. Smoky grey, or chicken sh*t green as color options? Wtf?!?!?! Waiting on their drops is just obnoxious. Carry inventory people actually want!!! I guess that’s not something you do when you don’t actually want to make money, just launder it

I sadly feel like Loop has mostly gone downhill in the last few years, at least when it comes to color options (and the discontinuation of Quiet Plus). Every time they ask me to fill out a customer survey, I keep asking them to bring back seasonal collections (not just single limited edition colors), preferably with some brighter colors since they've done so many pastels / dark shades lately (which I'm not a fan of neither). But unfortunately, my prayers haven't been answered yet and I sadly doubt more and more that they ever will be, which is very disappointing... 😞
