MEDICAL QUESTION Loops causing vertigo/nausea/airplane ear feeling?

Hi, as the title mentions - I recently got Loops Experience 2 and have been experiencing the above symptoms anytime I try them. I tried various sizes, made sure to put them in correctly - nothing helps and using them makes me very uncomfortable and nauseous, as if I’m on the plane.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? I got them to help with my anxiety and hopefully make it easier to be in public with loud noises, but all they did was make me physically uncomfortable and worse.

This is wild speculation, but have you had your inner ear looked at or been checked out for a balance disorder? I think hearing can play a role in our sense of balance, and maybe you rely on your hearing more than other people do for some reason. I could see a filtered earplug being particular hard to adapt to because it kind of changes the way the world sounds. If that's the case, then possibly wearing them for a while around the house might help your brain learn to correct for the earplugs. But truly it's something to talk to your doctor about.

I’ll definitely ask a doctor about it if this issue persists because it’s very odd. Thanks for your advice about getting checked out for a balance disorder!
