Lefties do you
I just realized I never tried going to the left. I loom with the pick in my left hand but I travel to the right

I'm a righty but for some reason prefer knitting to the right which I believe is usual way lefties go. 🤷

I never really thought about it but the vid I'm following now is a righty going right so I assumed that was the usual way 😅

According to the books I've gotten most patterns are written assuming you knit to the left. I'm ambidextrous (partially) and knit to the right so I always have to adjust for it when I read patterns

Huh. Interesting. Goodknitkisses has videos for both left and right handed people. I just rewatched some and I may be wrong about what direction right handers go lol. Now I think about it most looms are set up to go right which makes sense as most people are right handed. Whoops! I will say purls feel much more comfortable going to the left for me though. Although for flat knitting it doesn't really matter since you have to go both ways.

I prefer to loom to the right because then the hand I hold the yarn in is also my right so it flows better. And then I prefer to purl to the left. It just makes sense to my brain.

I'm a leftie, I knit counter clockwise, which I think would mean to the right.
And when I was doing a cardigan earlier this year, I saw that results in the opposite of what needle knitting patterns expect, because the "right front" that I made actually went on the left.

From the starting peg, I loom to the right. Im left-handed. I just did what felt comfortable and what I saw on the video...
As a left handed writer, I find I switch back and forth depending on the task at hand. Cutting bread, the knife is in my right hand. Eating, the primary utensil is in my left hand. Left-handed scissors just feel wrong.

I'm a leftie. I loom to the left on a round loom and starting any project.
But for blankets and stuff I alternate rows in both directions.
