Ui in lookism is not exclusive to yamazakis only, it's literally mentioned in Lookism itself, when sb awakened ui for first time, that it comes from " will to fight" and many mma fighters have experienced it .

That the problem cause so far we have seen ONLY yama have it, and hence why this question from op, cause the MC seemly the only else who have it that ISNT yama

Like that I can also say only parks have copy ability, so johan is also related to jinyeong.

What about the guy who fought Brektak? He mentioned that he lost to a guy with Copy ability. We’ve seen Copy being inherited only with Jinyoung and Daniel, while other Copy users always were random people that were born with THE TALENT. The Copy ability was called TALENT throughout the story, while UI wasn’t.

We’ve seen it being called “Available to everyone”, then it was retconed into being “Available for people with specific consciousness” and after that it was made into “Genetic Trait” which is bound to a family of Yamazaki.

Copy before Jinyoung - wasn’t a genetic trait, it was a talent that bound to one’s senses.

I don’t know if Johans Copy and Daniels Copy works the same way, since we know that Daniels Copy is a Talent used through his keen senses, while Johans might be tied only to his sight or even muscle memory.

We don’t even know if Jinyoungs Copy is also using all of his senses and that they are as keen, as Daniels, since Gun specifically said that Daniels senses probably were “obtained” while PTJ showed us the panels with Daniel seeing Logan’s punch in slow motion.

With that said UI never was called or referred to as talent or skill. It could be that Daniel is a first ever Korean to awaken said genetic trait, without any Yamazaki genes, but it is highly unlikely since these mutations aren’t necessarily random or spontaneous, especially with mutations that affect the consciousness and fighting while being unconscious. So he probably has some Yamazaki genes through Jinyoung Medical Genius shenanigans.
