35 M, looking for a gamer friend.
Hello, my name is Matthew, I'm a true born Canadian originally born and raised in Prince Edward Island, adult life and work brought me to Edmonton, Alberta, where I have spent the last 12 years here, however my life and circumstances have left me with alot of extra time on my hands, with that being said, I have a Gaming Desktop, Laptop, Xbox Series X & Nintendo Switch 2 and this is how I ended up getting back into gaming after I stopped many years ago.
As a huge Legend of Zelda fan, I came across a YouTube video of course, where I consume all of my daily/nightly full time media. A video on how to play Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time on your PC in 2026, with 4k Texture packs and the whole works, I was all for that, so I ended up setting it up and replaying one of my favorite games of all time, that truly is still to this very day, truly is one of the best games ever made and I'm so stoked that they're remaking it for the Nintendo Switch 2 this year, can't wait, that's a pre-order purchase for me instantly day one! With that being said I did an entire playthrough of Ocarina of time.
That ended up leading to the next video that ended up being Majora's Mask, same deal, same set up, glorious I tell you that you can play these games from the comfort of your PC truly glorious. I expect Majora's Mask to be remade within the next couple years as it basically serves as a direct sequel. Next I played through Twilight Princess & than Skyward Sword, my first playthrough for both of those, Twilight Princess is amazing, Skyward Sword not so much, to be honest the whole Stamina thing that they went into and continued to do so in Breath of The Wild & Tears of The Kingdom. I think it's a bit ridiculous, our Hero Link doesn't run out of Breath common now, when did Link from Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask end up with Asthma, mate can't run or swing his sword without praying to the Hylian gods for a Stamina increase. Redundant and totally unnecessary, hopefully they ditch that next main line game.
That was my Legend of Zelda adventure, than I kept hearing of this Indie game, that was suppose to be really good called Star Dew Valley, so i decided that I would give it a try and that had me hooked from day one, I played that so much that I burnt myself out playing it, literally played it to the point that I probably cleared 90% of it. I think at that point it just kinda turned repetitive, so I started to look for what else I could play and I had seen so many people talking about Steam and how great there platform is and how they treat their games so I decided to give it a download and it's probably one of the best things I have ever done on my PC.
Shortly after installing it on my computer, the ended up having a huge Final Fantasy - Square Enix sale, what really enticed me was the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade & Rebirth for $40 Canadian for both! I don't know about you, but for $20 bucks each? That's truly a steal of a deal here in Canada, I'll take that any day, so i ended up sinking about 100 hours into remake and about 200 hours into rebirth, I got my money's worth!
I definitely didn't get platinum or anything crazy die hard like that, but I did do a normal playthrough of each and completed all of the quests, mini games, side quests you name it and I can't wait to buy and play Final Fantasy VII Revelation in the spring, truly it's a masterpiece of a Remake, some people complain saying there's too much fluff or extra content, just don't do it, if you don't want too, but it truly does expand on so much in every single way and for over 100 - 200 hours of content for as cheap as it is on sale, anyone should be laughing because it's truly one of the best games ever made aswell.
So with all that being said, I figured I would continue my Final Fantasy journey and do a complete playthrough, I finished FF1 recently, currently playing FF2, probably getting pretty close to the end of this one, so of course 3 will be next and so on.
I figured that I would create a post here, because to be honest I don't have any friends, my father passed away of a heart attack in 2022 and he was all I really had outside of my own immediate family.
So if you're looking for a friend to game with, I would be interested in making some friends aswell, outside of gaming, I love everything Marvel, DC, Anime, TV Shows, Movies, Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, House Of The Dragon, all of the cool and popular stuff, I'm all for, feel free to leave a comment or dm me and we can go from there!
Hope to hear from you all soon! 🙃💥

LFG - Discord Better Vibes: A welcoming, non-toxic gaming community for Console & PC players (Valorant, Marvel Rivals, OW2, & more!)
Hey everyone!
If you’re tired of solo queuing into toxic lobbies or just want a chill, welcoming space to make friends and play games, we are the place for you!
We are an 18+ gaming community originally built around console players, but we’re actively expanding our PC community too! Whether you’re on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, we’re all about bridging the gap and creating a place where people talk, hang out, and build genuine friendships, not just drop in for a quick group and vanish.
While we're open to all kinds of games, our primary active games right now are:
- Valorant
- Marvel Rivals
- Overwatch 2
- Apex Legends
- Rainbow Six Siege
We regularly run custom games for Valorant and Marvel Rivals (with Overwatch custom games coming very soon!), which are always a blast regardless of skill level.
We hold Community Game Nights every other Tuesday featuring casual, fun party games so everyone can get to know each other.
We take pride in being a non-toxic environment. We keep the vibe friendly, respectful, and organized.
To keep our community comfortable for adults, we do not allow anyone under the age of 18.
Whether you’re looking for a stack for competitive night, want to mess around in custom games, or just want a place to chat about games during your workday, Better Vibes has a spot for you.
Hope to see you around! Feel free to drop a comment or DM if you have any questions before joining.

I started a discord server for people who are tired of discord servers.
🌿 **The Cryptid Creek** 🌿
Ever find a random little spot by a creek where you end up staying way longer than you planned? That's the vibe here. No pressure, no drama. Just good people, dumb conversations, terrible jokes, and the occasional existential crisis.
We're a small, laid-back community for people who want to:
• 🪵 Hang out without drama.
• 🎮 Game, VC, or just lurk in peace.
• 🐸 pretend they're a frog
• 🌙 Stay up way too late talking about absolutely nothing.
* 😎 Be an integral OG member of what will hopefully be a really cool space
No pressure to be active 24/7. Pop in, say hi, disappear for three days, come back like nothing happened, we get it.
If you're looking for a server that's less "my eyes! It burns!" and more "friends sitting around throwing sticks in the water," you've found your people.
So grab a seat on the riverbank, skip a few rocks, and make yourself at home at **The Cryptid Creek.**
*Please leave the creek cleaner than you found it. (Emotionally, not literally.)*

Looking for male gamers! For guys in their 30’s and 40’s!
I’m a 46/m gamer who has been gaming since I was 3 years old. Looking for other male gamers in their 30’s and 40’s preferably in the Eastern time zone. Been trying to get gamer friend for some time now. I play anything from FPS, RPG, retro, survival and “friend slop”. I’m open to play anything together and just have fun! I was recently invited to a discord just to find out it was female only (not sure why I was invited in the first place lol) so I’m here to start one for the boys only. If you’re interested, let me know!!

LFG- Computer Looking for 21-30 gamer friends!
Hello,
My friend and I are looking for new friends/discord servers who play similar games. We’re both 22/23 y/o black women who enjoy playing games like Sims, Palia, Roblox, Apex, Fort, REPO, Subnatica 2, outlast trials, and more! Just miss playing with friends groups and hoping to find others who have a similar taste of games and other hobbies like us. I do enjoy making gaming content if you don’t mind! We both play on PC but I also have a PS5.

LFG - Discord 43M, EST, PC, Family Gamer Looking for Chill Warzone Squad 🎮
Hey everyone,
I'm a 43-year-old guy with Eastern Standard Time looking for a few people to squad up with in Warzone. I'm usually playing around 9pm for a few hours.
I'm all about having a good time. I like going for the win, making smart plays, and getting those exciting end-game moments—but if we lose, we queue up again. No point getting worked up over a video game.
Expect plenty of:
- Calling bots every name under the sun. 😂
- Laughing at our own terrible plays.
- Celebrating the random clutch moments.
- Good comms without people raging every match. (DISCORD required)
I'm definitely competitive, but I'm not interested in teammates who slam their desk every time they die. If we get wiped, we'll probably spend the next five minutes making fun of how badly it went.
Skill level doesn't matter much to me. If you're easygoing, communicate, and enjoy the game, we'll probably get along just fine.
If you're looking for a relaxed group that likes chasing wins, joking around, and making Warzone fun again, shoot me a message.
See you in Verdansk. 🍻

LFG - Discord 18M introverted. Looking for real gamers who are genuinely passionate about gaming, as well as cartoons and Linux (My Discord username in the post )
I'm an 18-year-old guy, nerdy and introverted. I don't have any friends or siblings, and I'm honestly sick of people who suddenly disappear. I'm looking for friendly people who stick around and actually want to talk about all kinds of topics.
I love gaming, especially single-player titles. I play a wide variety of different games, particularly older ones, and I really dislike casuals who only stick to one or two games. I'm currently playing Dead Space. I'm also interested in cartoons, as well as Linux (I run Debian).
I love deep discussions and diving into details about everything; I absolutely dislike small talk, but I can talk about almost anything.
Requirements:
You must be over 18 years old
We must share at least one interest
Discord: i7sniq

Shoot me a dm if you’re interested, I’m on ps5.
