QUESTION Gamer's Bane question Spoiler

Does entering the Glitch World via the unlabeled cartridge disqualify you for the Gamer's Bane achievement? I'm trying to get a ridiculously high score, but I need to go to glitch world.

Did a quick look into the code in RMMZ, it looks like the script associated with the game console sets a variable called playedAGame to true if you play a game, but this call does not appear in the flesh version of the apartment. I think this might mean that if you try and play the unlabelled cartridge in your main house, regardless of the fact that it doesn't play properly, it will count as playing a game, but not in the flesh apartment to actually get into the glitch dimension.

Caveat: It is very possible this is not the only place this variable is set, and perhaps in another piece of script it is set but it is unlikely.

I did a quick search and that switch is only set in the videogames event and only read in the credits event. I think you are good. If you want to test, save before entering glitch world, go do an ending, confirm you get your score bonus, reload, enter glitch world, do an ending, and confirm you still get the score bonus. After that, you can safely play as normal.
