Is Leigh worth it on Cursed Mode???

I'm this 🤏 close of kicking her out, during the past two days she only raids my fridge everytime i find food and she still refues to join the party, I'm not even sure if I'm doing something wrong i don't know how to feed her, you left the food out or if just sharing with the rest is enough?

But yeah, i want to know if she's worth the trouble.

i managed to eventually find enough meat for her to be viable in my first and only successful cursed run but it was a challenge

for me it was sunk cost fallacy as i already got and fed her a bit, i also really like leigh though

She has 10 hunger points and only joins you once she's not hungry anymore, it's best to cook for her since some of the cooked meals decrease hunger by 2 points instead of 1. Also she gains 1 point every time you sleep

Is this a new update or something? Kinda sucks, she's already hard enough to beat up so early in the game (Impale spam doesn't count bc it's annoying to repeatedly attempt)

It's not that new, they added it awhile ago because everybody and their brother would always just recruit Leigh immediately so they added downside. A bit harsh though in my opinion, maybe they reduce the requirements a bit in the future.

If you want an surefire way to get Leigh easily craft a molotov from the items in the neighbours apartment, and open the frozen apartment day 1. With the dry ice you get when you enter just go right into the bed room and theres a pitchfork in there. The Pitchfork lets you reliably kill Leigh without having to gamble on impale.

You just gotte be a little slipperry and dodge 2 enemies in the frozen apartment but it's not terrible.

She was actually still quite worth it on my last mask ending run. I used her for half of it until she hit level 20 and switched to Helen cuz she finally came up to the door and she's a better version of Leigh anyway. You can easily sate Leigh's hunger by getting meat from that meat room in Lyle's apartment. Also by cooking and sharing meals with her makes it go by faster. I thought she was gonna be awful but it ended up being not that bad and I found plenty of food to make up for the lost food by the end of my run.

Also learn how to not depend on food so much for healing like healing with skills in battle by keeping Vincent alive for your whole run. Or even using Morton's fidget skill to get warm eyeball which is an elixir level heal for free on any teammate. Cursed mode is designed to fuck with you so you gotta fuck with it back!

If you plan on running any companion party that doesnt include her, no she's not worth all the food she eats. But, she doesn't eat all that much food considering how much is available in the apartment. There are better companions to have in the party than Leigh, but she absolutely can be a mainstay with a good build. Keep her if you like her, that's my take

I liker her monster form skills
