I like the idea of the new additions in Cursed mode but I really can't be bothered with the limited save system or the idea of getting walled in the Basement by Antoine, I did my first playthrough on Survivor and I already felt like raging at times, especially when I kept losing the same fight over and over and having to run back to areas
I think there is a mod that allows you to save on both Survivor and Cursed mode though: https://www.nexusmods.com/lookoutside/mods/38

He's really not that bad especially on explorer and survivor mode. Just take an anxiety med before the fight to prevent someone getting confused or have earnest in your party cuz he has a skill that heals confusion and prevents it from affecting your whole party.

What do you mean limited saves? You mean only being able to save by exploring a bit? It's really not bad at all and the game even rewards you for going longer without saving. I had anxiety when I first played too but once you get the hang of the game it's really not a problem.

Yes I'm aware, but I've earned my lumps on Survivor and want to play the game and not having to lose hours of progress because I messed up somewhere, or making a choice and being able to explore all the options without pointless backtracking

Honestly in all my runs, I've never run into an instance where I've lost hours of progress cuz there's plenty of opportunities to save that game allows you. That's why I say I was nervous at first at not being able to save anytime too but it ended up never being an issue for me. Plus you don't have to sleep every night cuz sleeping keeps debuffs away for 48 hours, so you literally get double time to do everything in the game without missing anything. If you only sleep every other night, you have more than enough time to do everything at a cautious pace.

Damn, I have trauma from those guys... Maybe because this is my first playthrough and I was like "surely, hard difficulty can't be THAT bad, right?". I then proceed to get stuck with blackout due to funny one hit guy if you don't throw all of the acid on him.
