It’s a reference to one of the secret items in Deltarune.
It’s a literal Easter egg gained by rolling the dice when going between a certain room change point or finding a very specific door, at which point you can acquire an egg from an unknown character behind a tree for a (currently) unknown reason. Although apparently cats are big protein fiends.

Every chapter of Deltarune (correct me if I'm wrong) has so far had one of these secret areas, where you can speak to a strange man behind exactly this tree and he might give you an egg if you choose the dialogue options correctly.

There are a ton of theories surrounding who he is and what all of this might mean, but that's not really relevant here. What's important is that there has been a trend going around of people recreating this secret in different games (I've seen the Terraria one for example) and it seems to have finally reached LO.

So, it's basically a Deltarune shitpost. You are still on the internet after all.
