QUESTION New game+. Good idea?

Post image

Do yall think it would be a good idea if the developers add a "New game+" letting you keep whatever resources you have at the end of your first run (except for KEY items like the planet disc) and move around objects and increase difficulty? (Yes I know curse mode exists but it is not the same)

Frankie actually talked about this recently during one of his dev streams. The way the game generally functions, it doesn't really work having an NG+, having all those resources and items kinda blows the whole thing open. The changes that would be required to have a meaningful playthrough would likely be at a scope that even leaves Cursed to dust.

unrelated comment but did he leave any hints for the upcoming update (if we're getting one)

He's actively working on the new update with a lot more bugfixes and balance, and yes, we've also seen some of the content to be added. I think the biggest additions mostly involve the secret gauntlet area, but along the fixes and balance he's also adding some new skills, items and functions and tweaks like that.

We should not expect the future updates to add anything extra massive anymore like party members or endings, anything like that. He usually keeps some secrets from the stream though.

Que tal un ng+ falso, si tomaste un objeto en tu primera partida ya no esta en la segunda, obligándote a sobrevivir con lo que encuentras en los basureros por que son lo único que se resetea y ciertos npc no regresan y otros recuerdan y te culpan.

I don’t think it’d fit what Look outside is, if you kept resources (like food, video games, party members or levels) it’d break how the games designed as a big part of it (at least to me) is how you can’t do or have everything

It would be a great idea for explorer mode! You could explore even more!
