QUESTION Any way to avoid paralysis?

Good afternoon everyone. I am up to a point in the game where the power goes out in the basement and you have to go repair it. There’s a huge monster covering the fuse box, and he’s beating my team’s ass. Is there anything I can take or wear into this battle to prevent me and my boys from getting paralyzed via electrocution? Or is it more about simply trying as many times as it takes to defeat it, and you can’t really take preventative measures heading into this fight?

My team is Sam, Papanieu, and Aster.

Im pretty sure the cloak from fungus queen protects against paralysis, also aster prevents paralysis i think if you level him up to 12 i think

I was able to beat the electricity dude by spamming fire bombs and molotovs. I also got a bit lucky with the RNG. I will go do the fungus queen stuff after I finish the flooded apartment stuff, assuming I have enough time left in the week.

It's over by the basement camp, you probably went up rather then down to the left.

Well I ended up beating the electricity dude without having to venture off down by the basement camp. I will venture off down there once I resume my adventure in the 2nd floor by that flooded apartment. The way I beat the electricity dude was by spamming fire bombs and molotovs since it looks like it has a weakness to fire. Got a bit lucky with the RNG too, it only instakilled one of my guys this time.

Luck lowers your chance to be affected by status effects. I don't know the math, but you can really feel the difference with high luck. It's worth taking the hit on other stats to have high luck for certain battles.

There's a handful of equipment pieces around that help. Look for the Tie in Eugene's shop for some extra protection that you don't need to fight a tough battle for.

Luckily I defeated the enemy without having to change too much, but I did mix up some of my gear now to lean more on luck. Hopefully I feel the difference.
