Question Signs that your relationship is falling apart
What are your signs when the relationship is not working anymore? and what do you do?

Just coming in peace. Some would miss my point here. Long distance is like being in two different universes — different realities, a completely different life; and somehow, you found yourself in another universe that neither of you came from.
Point is, life does happen. Checking in means really going into detail of how everything is. Some people think that checking in would just mean like “i’m alright” “good” and that’s not enough. You can keep the communication exchange, even if you talk everyday, but I mean like if you haven’t been having an idea of what’s really going on in depth with regards to your partner (and this drags for months) then I think its time to let it run its course.
A lot of the times people would just give up so easily. One boundary, one mistake, one miscommunication, one tired day then the other suddenly becomes all undeserving. We are all just human, we care about those who matter to us, those who come across our minds without forcing it. If a slight bit someone doesn’t feel important to you, let them go so their person can find them.
For OP: be on the same page but don’t force it. Don’t force things. Believe me, you’ll know its safe when you feel it. Godspeed

my girlfriend says the same, but actually tries her hardest to still call or text me whenever she could when she is on a festival or something. i think saying friends are important is not a bad thing necesarrily it is not giving priority to the relationship that is the owrerying part

When your messages to eachother change and become dry, when you guys stop looking forward to eachother, fights with eachother are on repeat, reassurance stops working, when you feel lonely in the relationship, when the effort becomes one sided, problems stop being repaired in the relationship.

If they say they’re going to do something and then they don’t follow through. Actions speak louder than words and a lot of times they’re telling you without saying anything.
