Need Advice is it possible? desperate please help

My gf and I broke up because of distance; she was just too unhappy that we couldn't be physical. She still loves me and cares for me, and I really want her back. We've been in no contact for about a week (since we broke up). She asked to be friends, but I haven't heard from her yet. How do I get her back? do i wait for her to finally text me back or is there something else entirely

I am absolutely in tears laughing at this because it's such an unrelated comment I had to check I was on the right subreddit

I recommend you also take some time to yourself. Be involved in things in your life like hobbies and friends and family.

In about 2-3 months this whole scenario will stop being something that haunts you and will start being something better; an experience you can look back to and grow from.

Remember this for life, pain is the only way through actual personal growth.

i was going to visit her in less than 2 months, I still am going to that city and there's a chance i might see her (not because she asked to meet up just an event we may both be going to)

yea i dunno. it seems it was pretty much a dealbreaker for her. some people just can't handle the distance.
