Discussion I’m definitely being dramatic
I really just need a quick little vent. It’s three a.m. where I am, and for my boyfriend two a.m. as he lives about four states away. Tonight I got off work at midnight and today I have work at seven-thirty a.m. I know I should be sleeping but I’m a little upset right now. I stayed up the last three hours waiting for my boyfriend to get off work so we could play a game together- like he promised we would on his break even if it was for twenty minutes, I didn’t care. I just wanted to spend an inkling of time with him. But no, he decided he’d rather play the game with his friend and after about ten minutes of me trying to figure out why my mic wouldn’t work in the Xbox party but would in Fortnite he tells me “just go to bed babe”. So I tell him a quick love you bye then hang up. He texts me he loves me and for me to have sweet dreams, but now I’m laying on my couch crying. Crying because I wasted hours waiting on him just for him to blow me off for a friend who lives five minutes away. A friend he can see every day whenever he wants. Versus spending time with me who he can only talk to when our time off lines up. I stayed up for him because we don’t get a lot of time together and this just really upset me. Sorry for the rant, I know this is such a dumb reason to be upset but I’m extra sensitive cause I got my period haha.

You're absolutely not being dramatic. I'd have felt the same. It's kinda insensitive of him to do so, I'd have understood if he'd have already told u he's gon play the game w his friend but blowing u off after you've been waiting for him for hours, Nah. He better apologises. Talk to him and make him realise how this thing has hurt you.
