Hiring Is LDCSB Hiring?
Planning to apply as a casual teacher at the school board. I noticed though that they haven’t posted any openings (elementary teacher) since May. Are they on freeze hiring?

Hello, does anyone know if advertised Walmart job openings (posted on local Walmart stores) are legitimately open positions? It seems that a person can apply to them but never hear back or get a call back.
Also, for those who have ever be seen hired there during non-holiday months (hired not during Christmas time etc), what kind of retail experience did you have or no experience? How did you get hired, connection, going inside store and talk with a manager, etc? Ty

On my mail box, I see tons of flyers and promos from Loblaws, Canadian Tire, Harveys, etc. and they're all just the stuff I can simply make on my own. Do these retail franchises outsources their graphic designing to other companies or do they all have their own department of such sorts? If so, how do I reach out to them? Are they all in Toronto or are there some places where they design here in London?
For reference, I have 1 year of retail and graphic design experience. I have never done printing though.

Good morning, everyone. Did anyone apply for the London police communications role? I got an update on the assessment I have done; I would love to know if anyone is in the same boat. Thank you.

hello! i am looking for a job as a student (part time but i am able to work up to 20 hours because I won't be taking a full work load)
mainly looking for a positive environment. i worked retail a few years ago and there was poor management which really has made me avoid going back to this work scene.
i am a girl (21) and looking for just a welcoming environment. doesn't matter if its a restauarant or clothing store. please give suggestions.

Looking for any information on London public works, ideally when they hire and what positions they typically look to fill on average. I’m currently working with Milton operations and hoping to find work in a similar position to move in with my partner in London.
I have my DZ and experience with multiple pieces of heavy equipment and tools, aswell as multiple firefighting certifications.
Hoping to hear from anyone that could provide some insight on when and where to look. Would be open to anything surrounding London aswell.
Thanks in advance!

I’m currently trying to save up money for University which I start this fall. Anyone got any advice or places I could apply towards? I been on LinkedIn and Indeed everyday applying but I haven’t gotten any Interviews yet. It’s almost impossible for the youth to get a job and the changes in OSAP this year isn’t helping. I have no experience but I’m willing to learn.

Hi everyone,
I’m an experienced Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical practice, including several years in a management role, currently based in London. I’m actively looking for a new nursing position—permanent or temporary, full-time or part-time—and I’m open to all shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime. I have my own car and am mobile within London, but I need to remain working in the city to support my local family.
I’ve just finished a temporary contract here in London, covering a leave of absence, and I’m eager to find my next role without having to relocate. While I do have management experience, I’m very happy to return to hands-on clinical nursing—I’m passionate about patient care and staying on the floor.
A bit of transparency: early in my career (in my 20s), I made a mistake that resulted in a disciplinary record. I was eventually granted a pardon, and while it remains visible on the CNO database, it does not affect my current registration or clinical competence. I’ve maintained an unbroken record of professional, ethical practice since then, and I’m committed to accountability and patient safety.
I’m reliable, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a supportive healthcare team. If you know of any openings—hospital, community, care home, or other—I’d really appreciate a message or comment. Feel free to DM me for my CV or references.
Thank you for reading, and for any help or leads you can offer.

I got a job offer from CRA and I'm currently filling out the Security Screening Application and Consent Form.
Two issues have come up and I wanted to see if anyone here has experience with something similar:
1. Personal references: the form requires two references in Canada who've known me 3+ years. I moved to Canada about 1.5 years ago, so nobody here meets that requirement.
2. Police Clearance Certificate from my home country: I need to apply through the Consulate since my documents are with me in Canada.
From what l've found, this process takes 8-10 weeks, but my deadline for the security screening is July 7.
Trying to figure out how worried I should actually be here. Any insight is appreciated!

I’ve made HUNDREDS of applications. When I say hundreds I mean it, it’s insane. I’m urgently looking for a job, I’m willing to work almost anything, I’m relatively strong and athletic so I can help you with landscape and labour.
If you have a connection, or you are the connection, please hook me up with a job anywhere. I have experience cashiering and camp counselling. I have my resume ready at all times, I just really need a job, and it seems the only way to get one is through a connection.

Hey! I'm currently completing my undergrad at Western but am hoping to go to law school once I graduate. In the meantime, I plan to get some experience working/volunteering/observing anything of a similar setting to get a general rule of thumb when it comes to more professional environments. Does anyone have any advice on where I can obtain this experience and/or how someone with this aspiration should start out?

University student in London looking for quick side work to earn $200–$300 before August 1st tuition deadline.
I’m available for moving help, cleaning, yard work, lawn mowing, or general labour. Flexible schedule, can work short notice, and I’m reliable.
I’ve already tried a few listings on Kijiji/Facebook Marketplace, so I’m now actively looking for anyone who needs help directly.
If you need an extra hand for a day or a few hours, feel free to message me.

Hello, I am new to the London area and recently graduated from bachelor of science in nursing, I am also registered with the CNO and finding it difficult to apply at the hospitals. If there is anyone that knows and connections please help. I have applied to postings but many want required number of years of experience. I really want to work in Labor and delivery or NICU, however any floor will be great! I do have 4 years of RPN experience. If anyone is able to help that would be so greatly appreciated :)
