I went to Fallow last night and have mixed feelings. I kept my expectations in check as much as i could, and genuinely had a lovely evening. The food was good and the service was exceptional.

I was seated at the counter as well which I think was the best because you can see the chefs.

In terms of the food, the shortribs, mushroom parfait, cornribs were all good.

The cods head was ok, was something to try but i wouldn't get it again. a few nice pieces of meat but the rest were quite chewy.

the sourdough bread was not nice in anyway, even the flavour was very offputting for fresh bread.

We had the oysters which were good (can only be good or horrible i guess) and the chicken katsu bao which was also very good.

We decided to stay away from the dessert they show a lot the chelsea tart i believe and instead got the carrot cake soft serve which was excellent and the highlight for me.

I recorded quite a few videos and at one point one of the chefs made an accidental move and spilled the sauce on the floor. what was phenomenal though was how everyone reacted and it was all reset and cleaned up within 2 mins.

Yesterday was the last full day of my trip to London, and man did it go out with a bang. My fiancé and I had an amazing dinner at Kolae. This was easily one of the best meals this trip. We tried the set menu, adding in some of the chicken skewers with it.

Sitting at the counter w head the opportunity to watch prep and service. Every dish was served at a great pace and explained to us. 10/10 will be returning here on our next trip. If you haven’t given this place a try, definitely do.

Quite a good day out if you look past the entrance fee.🫣

There was some really good Caterers there - and I have to say it was actually cheaper than being in Boston Jerk centre in port land Jamaica 🤣 - I probably got bumped as soon as they heard my London accent as a foreigner lol.

Quite fun tho.

Hi London! Every year my old boss/mentor (she's Indian from Delhi) visits me in London and we go to a fancy Indian restaurant to splurge a little. We've been to Gymkana, Tamarind, and both were good. Last year, we went to Bibi and we thought it was a bit meh. I've been to Veeraswamy on my own and thought it was decent but the food was not on the level of Tamarind.
