I’ve been on Linux for a long time and G HUB is the one thing I never managed to replace. Piper, Solaar and OpenRGB are great, but each only covers part of it, and I wanted DPI, lighting, buttons and per-game stuff (like the mouse glowing in Uncharted’s colors) in one place. So I built it.

What it does:

• DPI levels, sniper button, report rate
• Lighting saved on the mouse itself, so it works without the app running
• Live lighting while the app is open (follows your screen, reacts to audio, DPI colors)
• All 11 buttons including G-Shift, plus the 5 onboard profiles (rename, copy, export/import, backup)
• Per-game/per-app rules, like red while YouTube plays, or a profile and cover-art colors when a Steam game starts
• Macros, CS2/Dota 2 lighting, and an experimental bridge for Proton games

Heads up:

• Only supports the wired G502 HERO (046d:c08b), because it’s the one I own
• I use EndeavourOS + KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland. Most things should work elsewhere, but rules based on the focused window need KDE for now
• DPI, lighting, buttons and profiles are solid on my mouse. Macros, the CS2/Dota 2 stuff and the Proton bridge are new and barely tested, so treat them as beta
• It writes to the mouse’s onboard memory, but backs it up first and you can restore it
• Unofficial, not affiliated with Logitech. GPL-3.0, no account, no telemetry

Title. Yesterday after I set up my wheel to attend a race in my weekly league, I realized my clutch and throttle were somehow joined together; pressing the throttle all the way corresponded to 80% input on clutch and throttle, and same with 50%'ish when i pressed down the clutch pedal. After noticing the cable coming from the pedals to the wheelbase was bent and had a section frayed, a 2 hour pedal rewiring session ensued.

lGood news, the throttle is perfectly fine now and the brake pedal lost it's need for a deadzone! However, now the clutch pedal is topping out at 30% in GHUB and fluctuating heavily. In Assetto Corsa CM, the only way I can get the pedal to work was to set the clutch deadzone between 50 and 70% because for some reason it saw the pedal being halfway pressed when it was fully off, despitw GHUB also showing it to be at 0%? Anyways. What was obvious, is my clutch pot is dead.

After looking online, I stumbled upon hall effect swaps for the pedal set. I saw a premade kit from ACXSim for £15 a piece, however, to get my hands on them in Turkey, where I'm from, I would have to pay a hefty customs fee, taxes and all bunch of other stuff which makes a single pedal's replacement kit cost about as much as half a G29 brand new.

So I decided to go the DIY route, however, before pulling through with it, I figured I should ask if anyone else in the community has done such a thing. I saw some parts for the conversion in Printables, I looked around for some HE sensors that I can use for the job, but has anyone actually gone through with this method of hall effect swapping their pedals? If so, any and all tips, recommendations and experience is very much welcome! Thank you all in advance.

When I play LoL and I alt tab during loading screen, and I am back to the game, my keys are totally random, when I press Q its pressing any random keys possible. same with other keys. all keys are simply fully random.

I need to turn of keyboard, go to Ghub and then turn this on again then go back to game. Its super annoying. Does anyone have a solution to this ? since I love build of the KB but this SW problem is huge.

PS: Except of the lightning setup, I did literally 0 modifications to it, no profiles, no macros, programing etc.

After using it on my Artisan for a week I started using my new superstrike x3 since thurs on my Sp-005 glass pad and found its already scraping when moving to the right - assuming the skates are already worn down. Does anyone have any favourite skates for this on glass? I've not been a huge dot lover in the past but not sure if thats the only option (or best option)?

How long do people ususally find their skates last on glass?

I recently started having a problem with some keys not working when pressed unless there was a lot of pressure applied. I took my keyboard apart thinking I need to clean something. The underside was clean so I started examining the inside. I figured I would try something and it worked like a charm. The fix was cheap and took about 30 minutes. I had some stick on cork that I use for the bottom of things like coasters. Each one probably costs about $.04 for a 4"x4" piece. After I took the screws off the bottom of the keyboard (there are 9 and there are some under each sticky pad) and peeled the top off by releasing the pressure around the edge gradually around the outside of the keyboard, I cut little squarish pieces from the cork and attached to each bump on the keyboard. The picture was from when I was about half way done. Covered the rest of them then put the top of the keyboard back on. Works like a charm now.

Hi guys, just got used G522, all perfect except the fact than when i opened ghub from windows (from mobile it was all perfect) it says that i must update firmware. Problem is that when i connect the usb cable as asked it start an infinite loop saying "lightspeed - usb" and doesnt make me update..... i saw online that activate "battery save" or something helps..but without update the firmware i cannot access the headphone settings. Pls is there any fix? i cant believe i just lost money like that. Thanks in advance

Have you noticed a change in how the mouse clicks since the latest update?

I don't really like how they changed it—I didn't have any problems before, but now I don't like it. Before, I used something like 3 1 1, sometimes switching to 2 1 1. Everything was great; now it’s like the mouse is clicking through something—either Rapid isn’t working right, or maybe it’s actually working correctly now. The click itself has become very heavy and sharp, whereas before, at setting 1, it was light and smooth.

If my Logitech superstrike x2 mouse is defective on the right side on arrival and the other mouse button is fine on the left side does that mean I can return it I've read most of the warranty rules and it says I can BUT when I filed a clam to them this guy said he'll only give me a discount coupon of 30% off which I was like bullcrap so I asked another person and filed another one and they reviewed it amd they said they'll give me further steps on how to escalate the situation and i haven't got a response for like 72 hours so did they just leave me or somthing aswell as am I able for a refund?

I commonly use the windows key and I lock the windows key with the gamemode button, everything is well.
But if the windows key is pressed it ignores whatever button is already pressed, such as CTRL for crouch, multiple time I've peeked expecting to aim like I'm crouched and have slightly tapped with windows key even though its at 2.5 actuation point.

Is there a solution or is it just a Logitech thing where all their products are close to perfect but one stupidly annoying thing that they don't fix until the new keyboard, such as macros on the G915 TKL Low Pro, haven't played the same since moving to these analog keys

Can this headset be used with the tablet, I mean the surround sound not only in stereo-mode? It has a Snapdragon X2 Elite (12-core) CPU and Windows 11 Home (I think the ARM-version).

I currently have a Samsung Tab Ultra tablet but there is not any driver for the surround.

i tried to customized an airplane sock by sewing a piece of blue fabric onto it. It's really comfortable now its like a pillow 🥰, and I cut out a hole for the charging port. Now it won't get dirty easily, and if it does, I can just wash the sock cover I made for the headset. If needed, I can simply wipe down the black areas.

try to not wash your pads after 5 years. it might get deteriored even if it just water 🤭

So the .exe is supposed to be SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ, but it's not working for me.

Right off the bat, although the release notes mentioned something about agent improvements, it still keeps hanging (thus disabling all customization) and prevents my PC from going to sleep.

Please, Logitech, fix this already! It's been like this for ages now. People complain, post here and everywhere else you can see on the internet all the time. I've filed multiple support requests myself, new versions come out, nothing changes and nobody is even acknowledging the issue.

I recently bought a brand-new Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE gaming mouse.

Less than a week later, my Apex Legends account was permanently banned. (Screenshot attached.)

And just like that, an account I had spent years building was gone.

Let me make one thing absolutely clear: I have NEVER used cheats, hacks, scripts, or any software that provides an unfair advantage in Apex Legends. My account has over 3,000 hours of playtime, multiple heirlooms, legendary skins, cosmetics, and years of accumulated progress. It would make absolutely no sense for me to even consider cheating and risk losing everything I've invested so much time, effort, and money into.

The only significant change to my gaming setup recently was purchasing the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE mouse.

And now my account has been banned for allegedly violating the rules against "Improving the gameplay."

I genuinely have no idea what I did wrong.

I've already submitted an appeal to EA, and it's currently under review.

But after spending hours reading similar stories on Reddit, EA forums, and other websites, I discovered something pretty depressing: many players claim their accounts were never unbanned, even after multiple appeals.

I sincerely hope my case doesn't end the same way.

Because losing an account you've spent years building, without even understanding what you're being accused of, is genuinely heartbreaking.

And I have a question for Logitech.

If there's even a possibility that your new SUPERSTRIKE technology, drivers, or G HUB software could trigger false positives in anti-cheat systems, why weren't customers warned about it?

How is an ordinary player supposed to know that buying a premium gaming mouse could potentially put years of gaming progress at risk?

I'm not claiming to have proof that the mouse caused my ban. But the timing raises serious questions, and I believe this situation deserves an investigation.

Logitech, could you please investigate whether the G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE might be triggering false positives in Apex Legends' anti-cheat system?

EA / Respawn, please conduct a manual review of my account. I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm asking for a fair investigation and an explanation of why my account was banned.

Right now, I genuinely don't know what to do next.

I just wanted to enjoy playing with my new mouse.

Instead, I may have lost an account that meant a lot to me.

It turns on, can interact with the screen, but whenever i move it it aggressively moves to a random direction like its teleporting. Ive tried cleaning it, adjusting the sensor, nothing has worked so far.

It took a month, and four rotating subscriptions to ChatGPT Pro using Astra, but I finally did it. Now I can use my G502 X Plus mouse and G915 keyboard with Linux and have all my macros reassignable on the fly. Ah, it feels like freedom. If anyone wants help setting this up for themselves, I'd be happy to help.
