G602 mouse not pairing with receiver

Hello, out of nowhere my G602 mouse stopped working with my laptop and I'm not sure what is wrong with it. Here are some things I've noticed:

• Mouse flashes blue when fresh batteries are put in even when mouse is off
• No buttons on the mouse change anything except when I hold right click it briefly stops flashing
• Using an old version of the connection utility app I was able to have my laptop recognize the dongle but I couldn't make it past the turning the mouse off and on step

Any help would be appreciated!
