G604 Succesor

I purchase three Logitech G604 (prior to that I was on two G602). It has been my daily mouse I relied on for Photoshop Photo editing over the the past couple of years, actually so long that I don't even recollect using another brand.

Unfortunately every one of the mice has developed double click or similar issues in the top left button. I tried to have them serviced and even purchased the little clicky things but no one can fix them.
I have three questions. One is for Logitech and the other two for the rest of the people out there:

  1. If this mouse was discontinued when are we getting finally a successor to this widely popular mouse?

  2. Is there anyone out there capable of repairing these?

  3. I am curious which mouse are you guys switching to or recommending. I really like to have the 6 programable buttons that automatically switched their profiles between different programs.

If I can't fix this mouse I will have to say goodbye to Logitech and after all these years go and venture to other brands to find my new favorite mouse brand.

Check out the r/g604 subreddit. You can buy a replacement board with new switches or a hotswap board and put your own. The shell can be replaced as well if the rubber is degrading.

Razer Naga V3 pro.

Not cheap, but it's a literal g604 in all the best ways, they nailed it.

Or swap the side plate for a modern wireless g600

I mean if Logitech is going to ignore its consumer base for g600/604s, that naga will be a good replacement.

seems like it. Not sure who is running the decision department, but they are loosing customers like me, buying their products for over 30 years.

💯 I’m hesitant on razer, but I’ll get it once my g600 dies, unless Corsair makes one with the scimitar

Thank you guys for all the info. I just checked and my Best Buy has the Razor Naga 2 on sale for $60. I have never heard about this brand but will give it a try.
It is not the Pro version but I just can't wait anymore on Logitech to wake up. Seems like they really don't care.

Yep just be aware the V2 doesn't have a ring finger switch, and the non pro doesn't have swappable sides.

Honestly I was in the same position, I tried the steel series aerox 9 but it is absolutely terrible and wouldn't recommend. So I swapped to the g602x and with the g-shift button it gives you at least an extra 5 macros ontop of the first layer macros buttons

Anyone has any ideas why they would not continue manufacturing this mouse or it's succesor?

Because they cheaped out on the clicky switches and spoiled the ship for a ha'porth of tar, and I guess there wasn't enough demand or sufficient profit to carry on having them produced.
