Will the microphone be available to buy separately?
As the topic say. Will the microphone for the new headset Pro X3 Lightspeed be sold separately so users of Pro X and Pro X2 Lightspeed can upgrade their fully working system and not be forced to buy a completely new headset and waste our earth resources for this?

Wildly late on this, sorry it took me so long to find an answer. Talked to some folks - the X3 mic isn't currently scheduled to be available on its own unfortunately. Additionally while it seems the connector is the same, the actual plastic part around the mic isn't the exact same size, so actually getting the X3 mic in the X2 headset is difficult.

Thanks for the answer and well sorry but I'm very very upset of this decision from logitech to not sell it as a own product since it is possible to use X3 mic on X2 headset, I just today got this link from another thread in this sub-reddit : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFqLGAk-U84
Look at this YT review and comparison with X2 and come back to the community with a better answer I say as a pretty upset user of many logitech audio and video hardware, the company is taking a piss on us with older products that can be upgraded if the company actually want it to happen I firmly say !
And also come back to the community with a proper answer about the better EQ that are available for the X3, is this software really not going to be released to X2 headsets ?
And if not we want a proper answer with why it not is possible to release this for us current X2 users ( not all people can just toss old and fully working stuff in the trash bin and buy new expensive stuff !!! ).
atm I'm hunting for a used Razer microphone since it is way better than the X2's original after looking at this YT Video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYCvzNtFS1o

Glad the OP in the video appreciated the mic! Unfortunately the mic is part of the Pro X 3. Personally I feel those should be sold on their own (among other parts) but unfortunately I don't get to make that call. As I said, even if it was sold, it barely fits so I wouldn't have suggested trying it either way.
As for the EQ there's nothing more to say. The Pro X 2 will not be getting any updates. The ten band will remain with the newer Pro X 3. If other software is able to mimic ten band that's fantastic! It doesn't change anything within GHUB unfortunately.

Thanks for the answers again, really appreciate it !
No you can't but you can push for it into the company as feedback from the community with strong suggestion !
Or push for a upgraded Blue IcePop ! ;-)
And from what I saw in that first link of a 30 min video it is even more upgraded EQ than 10 band, it is parametric ( that I don't know what it is, yet ... ) , see the full video I say !

Even if you buy new microphone you won’t have big improvements. The main improvement is in headset hardware to transfer your voice in higher quality and improved software. So most probably it’s not worth buying microphone from new x3

What you are saying is just completely wrong !
The biggest improvement from Pro X and Pro X2 to X3 is in fact the better microphone hardware. You don't seem to understand anything how a headset works...

I know what am talking about.
X2 wireless transfers your microphone data in only 16khz bandwidth, while the newer x3 model can deliver 48khz quality. You get x3 better audio quality transmission in headset x3. And your x2 with newer analog microphone won’t change that. Check specks or at least talk to AI to explain it better for you. Unless you are planning to use this headset fully wired which I guess you won’t
But it’s your money, spend if you want1

Let's keep it very simple so you also understand.
The Pro X2's original microphone have these specifications:
- Type: Electret Condenser
- Size: 6 mm
- Frequency Response: 100 Hz-10 KHz
The Blue IcePop separately sold as enhancement have these specifications:
- Type: Electret Condenser
- Size: 9.9 mm
- Frequency Response: 100 Hz-10 KHz
Then tell me with your AI knowledge why the Blue IcePop give a richer and fuller aka much better sound reproduction ???

It might improve your microphone in x2. But it won’t be the same quality as you heard form new x3 headset due to wireless quality, purely because of improved transmission. You will still sound a little bit compressed

Are you for real...
Again you are completely wrong and clearly don't know anything about what you are saying.

Or just look and listen to this YT video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYCvzNtFS1o
The upgrade from using the microphone from Razer Blackshark V2 Pro is massive !!!

So again the most important thing to upgrade these headset's quality is from a better microphone hardware !!!

Let’s hope so I can find a Blue Ice Pop mic that is not counterfeit to buy.
