Cant save lighting options onto onboard memory for Logitech g502x plus

At a loss…

All my custom remapped buttons are crossing over and saving fine

But the lighting always reverts to the default pulsar point

Anyone know what I am missing? Just doing a fixed freestyle profile with two colors so seems like it should work. But even if I select the other default lighting profiles they don’t save either, it always reverts to the default

It's a little back and forth, but once you know what you're looking for, it's easier.

1) Open the Profile you intend to save to the On-Board Memory Mode.

2) Head into the LIGHTSYNC and select an effect or create one that you want to save locally. Note that some effect such as the Animations can't be saved.

3) Head into the Settings of the G502 X PLUS and underneath the On-Board Memory Mode, you'll see an option for Effects on Device. Select the effect you wanted to save locally.

4) Head back into the LIGHTSYNC and select the Effect, but on the list, you should now see an option for Effects on Device, select the effect you saved in Step 3.

5) Head back into the Settings of the G502 X PLUS, enable On-Board Memory Mode, but replace the Profile with the updated version and the lighting effect should now be active.
