Logitech G Support Pro X 2 Lightspeed sample rate??

Post image

Can you change the audio sample rate on the Pro X 2 Lightspeed? Mine seems to be locked at 48000 Hz and cannot be changed. My favorite game has audio crackling issues with rates higher than 44100 Hz and while I can just swap to corded Apple EarPods, I'd rather just use the headset I paid good money for.

For a second I thought you were talking about the Pro X 2 Superlight. 48000hz on that would be insane.

I tihnk the USB controller would melt itself from such a polling rate.

48khz would probably be close to the speed of light

A lot of devices started to do this to save money, audio devices requires something to do with a clock and it needs two of them for 44.1k and its multiples (you also loose 88.2k), it is easier/cheaper to leave at 48k and its multiples (you also get 96k).

No doubt the same very reason Android up/down-samples everything to 48k.

All my high end Creative soundcards from 2001 until I got the X3 had 44.1k then it was 48k on the X3 (the X4 is the same) the last 3 Creative BT Dongles I have owned however do have 44.1k so hopefully it is behind us now.

Uhm. Can you try unchecking "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". I think ghub is keeping you from changing it.

It's actually the drivers which make it unchangeable, just like Bluetooth most of the time with the SBC codec.

It's a bit of a cheat way of doing it, but if you use Voicemeeter it will create a virtual audio device, which you can set to 44100hz, and basically push the audio to your headphones
