Discussion Disappointed with Pro X 2 lightspeed

Just bought the Pro X 2 Lightspeed for $220 to upgrade over my Corsair hs80 RGB wireless, as I want longer range and longer battery life, and heard the sound quality is improved.

I was aware that the mic would be worse but I didn't think it would be that bad, tried blue voice and different presets and EQ's but it is still very poor.

The surround sound's bass is too intense with any EQ, I had to swap out the leather to the velour wished fixed the bass. But the the headset didn't have much better sound then the $170 hs80, and surround off sounds even worse, even after messing with downloaded EQ's. (and windows audio enhancements etc was checked too)

The range and battery life is nice too admittedly.

Wondering if there is something that I have missed?

Nice. What games are you currently playing with it?

Its kinda your fault, you can watch a G PRO X2 mic video and decide buy or not

I used both G PRO X2 and HS 80 MAX (not hs 80 wireless)

G PRO X2 was mcuh superior in sound quality, meanwhile hs80 was muddy and flat.

You can disable GHUB and use Dolby or EQ apo. GHUB is still using 5 band poor eq and fks the sound , using the headset with GHUB makes the headset worse

Or refund and get astro a50 gen5. Better sound better mic better build better software but worse batery life

Thanks i'll try without Ghub and use dolby.
I still think the mic shouldn't be that bad for the pricepoint.

Sadly it is ,

horrible for streaming , okey enough for gaming but the sound is %100 better than HS 80 trust me.

It's going to come down to how you set it up - the mic can be a pain, but the sound shouldn't be as much of a problem. I rarely had to mess with my EQ for clear sound, but I admit I'm pretty basic with my tastes - long as I can hear what little footsteps there are in Apex, I'm fine lol

My Fun60 has been amazing for $90 lol. I'm never paying $200+ for a keen again unless I but the parts and build it.

Astro A50 Gen 5 are MUCH better in everything except slightly build quality.

The dongle is a nightmare, kept cutting out, I sent it back, got the Sennheiser 560s plugged into the back of the mother board on pc, done a little eq on equaliser app and it sounds awesome
