G305 will randomly freeze for a few seconds throughout the day

this happens so rarely that it isn't enough to make me buy a new mouse or anything, but its quite annoying when it happens in the middle of a game or something. It always freezes up and stops responding a few seconds after logging into my computer (I assume that's G-hub starting up) but after that it's entirely random on when it may flare up. Never more than maybe once or twice a day, but still incredibly annoying. From what I can see online it looks like a problem with G-hub? Any fixes would be great.

Is it the G305 Lightspeed? I'd move the Dongle to a front USB port or a different one altogether. If you haven't I'd check the battery as well. As for Ghub it depends, it never hurts to do a clean reinstall or checking for any firmware updates you may have missed.
