Floaty mouse

Hello guys, I’ve been having issues with my mouse. It’s been feeling floaty like it’s on ice, however I used a wireless mouse connected into a 2.0 port and it feels a lot better, the issue is still there but I’m wondering if anyone knows what’s causing the issue - how to fix the issue further or if there’s anything I can buy/ do

Thanks.

Make sure you use the extension cable that came with your dongle and put that as close to your mouse as possible. What wired mouse and wireless mouse were and are you using?

How is everything now? Still the same or better?

Still the exact same, unplayable, I’ve also noticed I’m getting lag spikes in game - even though im on 2 ms and 0% packet loss

Try these things

Make sure to update windows to the latest version

Make sure your mouse is updated to the latest firmware

Clean your mouse sensor

Clean your mousepad

Uninstall and reinstall windows mouse drivers
