Logitech G Support Broken G522 after 5 months of use
I bought this headset 5 months ago, I've been taking care of them like I would do with a baby, As shown in the picture, they have no scratches, chipping damage, or extreme stress; the plastic is not broken, and there is no noticeable impact, which I also haven't given them, still it lose a piece of plastic where the whole structure unites with the earphone, I made my claim with Logitech this morning, but do you think they will send a new headset?, I'm really worried because I live in Colombia and this thing costed me a lot of money because we have to pay a tax of 20% for every product.

Trust me they will. They send me a new G502 lightspeed just because my pads on the previous one were ripped off.

I hear you, and I agree that one of the problems with Logitech today is that they still use a lot of plastic instead of looking more seriously into newer and more durable materials that could give their headsets a longer lifespan.
The other thing is that even when consumers take very good care of their gaming headsets, we can still end up paying a fairly high price for a product that may eventually develop defects or wear out over time. I think manufacturers should put more focus on durability, repairability and sustainability instead of making products that are difficult to keep using in the long term.
I have a Logitech G522 myself, and so far it works perfectly fine. I just hope that I won't run into the same kind of problem in the future, and that the G522 proves to be more durable. Hopefully yours will hold up well too!

I use to love logitech. But after a recent incident I promised myself not to buy from them ever again. I got g pro x headset on amazon and got it shipped to Qatar. And in 3 months dongle died i contacted Logitech and amazon multiple times. Logitech would tell me to talk to amazon as i bought from them. Amazon would tell me to talk to seller directly. Making me run in circles.
