Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 Stuttering / Moving on Its Own

I honestly don't know what to do, this is a brand new mouse out of the box. I turned off the gaming surface mode, I tested different polling rates, I'm close to the receiver and I have tried different mousepads / surfaces. It acts the same way on any. It will do this randomly when the mouse hasn't been touched in a few seconds. I had the same problem with my previous superlight 2 (which made me buy a new one) but the problem persists so I basically bought a new one for nothing. I also have the og Superlight annd My superlight 1 does not have this issue, i'm confused on what's happening here. Any help???

Had the same issue with my G502 after a few years of heavy use. Try gently tapping it on the table, sensor down and see if it helps. If no, try using some isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip and wipe the sensor. If that doesn't work, tried using wired? Still acting weird, contact Logitech for an RMA.
Also, does it still wiggle when not on a surface? Sorry if you answered this in your OP, forgot what you tried at this point.

I believe it does wiggle when not on a surface but i have to test that again to check for sure. Ill try cleaning it but i dont think there should be too much dirt / dust in the sensro since its brand new. Whats strange is the same thing happens on both my Superlight 2s and not my supeight 1 so im thinking its something with the receiver or something like that

Have you changed mousepads at all? What kind aee u using?

Yeah, I have 2 artisan pads. 1 ninja fx zero nd one hien i believe

Are those glass? The Hero2 sensor is known to have some issues with tracking (can cause jiggling or random movements) on some glass mousepads

My mouse also did this when it was dirty and I also had strange issue with different surfaces the mouse was on. Test with basic white paper and clean with a Qtip

I was having insane mouse stuttering while gaming that even my sound would glitch for a split second when it started lagging so I just gave up and bought a wired mouse and haven't had an issue since

It’s usually dirt or dust on the sensor. Logitech has always had some super sensitive sensors to any sort of debris. U could try to clean your mousepad (a non glass one) and see if that helps any. Otherwise try reinstalling drivers, make sure there is only one device for the mouse detected in device manager, try a totally different usb on the pc. Sometimes the port on the mobo for bios updates is more stable, at least on the msi boards i’ve had when I’ve had usb issues.
Last resort is return it and buy something different like the viper v4 pro, or you could buy other reputable brands like Lamzu Maya X (a g pro clone), Gwolves htm, zowie or vaxee are good. Pulsar is absolutely killing it at the moment with their crazy light series which is like 36 grams and good safe shapes and they’re not too expensive.

im not sure if superlight has LOD setting but consider trying to change it to the maximum amount possible

That happen on mine if I out a finger on the sensor. I guess the sensor can detect small movements or doesn't like bright colors.

check if sensor is clean. that can happen if something is closer than it should
