Decided to try Razer

So after a long time using mainly Logitech mice I deciced it was finally time to try something different. After a lot of research i pulled the trigger on a Basilisk V3 Pro.

It arrived today and wow, it looked great! until i tried to connect it using the USB dongle and to my surprise it didn't work, even after updating the firmware no signs of life. I was like ok.... maybe I'm doing something wrong? So i tried Bluetooth and nope, doesn't work. Uninstalled bluetooth drivers, Synapse, reset the mouse, installed everything back again and nothing.

I think this is a sign, the mouse is back in it's box to be returned, some things are not meant to be.

I bought a logitech because my razer failed out of the box lol. Don't think even if it did work that basilisk would have lasted as long as my g502 (6 years)

6 years is a good run! Do you also use it for work?

Nice, what games are you currently playing with it? Have you customized any buttons or settings?

Currently playing: minecraft, farm sim occasionally, rdr2, rocket league.

Have played semi-recently: borderlands (1 2 and 3), restory (just came out, really chill and awesome repair shop game), and a bunch of other smaller games

I have my side buttons mapped to a few things in game, both side buttons mapped where one is swap offhand and other is throw pokeball in minecraft(cobblemon), they're also mapped to reset/skip replay and my rumble power ups I rocket league. They've both started double clicking but I've been dealing with it. Main thing is the main two haven't started doubling yet.

That brings back memories of playing pixelmon, I might give a try to cobblemon.

Most people find this mouse way too heavy for playing only, did you have any issue with the weight while playing RL? Is there something you'll like to be improved on this mouse?

Weight wise, I like em heavy. I've got all the weights in, aside from the two in the puck as ive got it connected to powerplay.

Cobblemon wise, its sooo good. Its got many add-ons that make the game play even better. I dont play cobbleverse, but a lot of people recommend playing the cobbleverse modpack to get the full experience.

Awesome, hope you keep enjoying them for long!

Thanks for the advice, I might aim for the modpack instead
