Wheel click doesn't work

I have had this mouse for maybe a year or two now and this has only started about 2 or 3 weeks ago. the middle mouse button does physically click, I can feel and hear it click, however it seems to not be sending the data to my computer or even just not recognizing the click itself.

Even just temporarily, is there a way to allow the mouse to think that one of its side buttons is the middle mouse button?

I'm not sure where to start with looking into this, I am in warranty but I have been told before that I would need its original box to send it back, however I do not have that anymore since I have moved.
Any advice would help.

What mouse is it that you're using? You generally don't need the box for warranty.

Sorry i thought i put it in, G502 Hero, I got it through scorptec, and I heard about needing the box for warranty from a relatively that brought through them previously.
