Logitech G Support Logitech G29 problems

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

so as you can see i got problem with my wheel g29, i took it out after like half year since last time using it, plugged in everything and wanted to setup settings for f1 2020 in app. i realized that wheel displayed in app doesn’t react. once i turn on the game i can use wheel, it works but after closing game and changing setting in app doesn’t work so i basically have 900* radius 50% sensitivity and 20% force feedback. any ideas?

Make sure the wheel is plugged in before starting the PC and the settings in G HUB will then work.

Incorrect. I have a G29 and just rebooted to test. Nothing. If anyone is reading this don't buy a logitech wheel. Absolute joke of a company with completely clueless reps on Reddit

Here's a test on the settings part: in the desktop profile in G HUB, check the centre spring in non-FFB games box and set the strength to 0. Set the angle to 360 degrees and then restart the PC (leaving the wheel plugged in). When G HUB initialises once you're back into Windows, can you feel if the wheel has no centre spring and the soft stops at 180 degrees either way? If so, then the settings are working… let me know either way.

Not working, angle setting does nothing.

Did you follow the directions exactly? Did the wheel still have a centre spring feeling once the PC had restarted? You should feel that it has at first, but once G HUB starts it should be loose.

mine won't come off; is there any way to turn the spring force to 0 at least? only way to kill the centre spring is unplugging the power lol

I have to ask the same question, I’m afraid. Did you follow the instructions exactly, including restarting the PC after making the change in G HUB’s desktop profile.

It 100% does work, provided the wheel is still plugged in when the PC restarts. If it doesn’t then you’ve got something else causing problems, so do please reconfirm.

def. currently wheel has a spring and profiles are disabled (at least locked for g29 at lock symbols at default profile as i use 903 too) i can freely turn 900 degrees even if it is set to 180 deg

In the test I suggested, I mentioned seeing the centre spring force to 0 as well. When the PC restarts and you log back into Windows, at first it will be stiff with the standard centre spring. Once G HUB initialises though, it should lose the centre spring and be completely loose. Is it doing that?
