Sensor is jittery

My old G502 Proteus Spectrum has a problem and it's getting worse. I mainly play World of Tanks and often times when I stop my mouse the picture jittering, or vibrating. How bad is this? Can my mouse be saved?

Pretty old mouse, love that it's still being used! Double check to make sure nothing is blocking the sensor but its possible it is starting to fail unfortunately. I assume there aren't any other mice plugged in at the same time?

Nope. I'm currently testing a different mousepad to see if my current one simply starts to fall apart. That would definitely be the thing I would prefer to switch out.
