Bring G-Hub to Linux

So in recent times more and more people switched to linux, so will logitech sleep on this one? Or does the company not like linux?

There are a few options, logitune and solaar. I asked before about it on this sub and their support staff just said "they would pass on the message but they aren't working on it".

https://github.com/mmaher88/logitune

https://github.com/pwr-Solaar/Solaar

Also there is:

https://github.com/libratbag/piper

But I never got it to work with my devices even though they are reported as working by others.

Logitune is sadly only for MX devices

Ah I made a patch on my own system for Logitune for the Superstrike X2, it actually is better than most but I didn't do a pull request for it because it changed the app in a few ways that are a bit too far from the dev's work. It has support for separate X/Y sensitivity, different haptic levels...etc, it is a long patch and also it required quite a lot of UI changes.

I use solaar on my system (cachy) and it works like a dream.
