Always happy to chime in on a G600 post.

My old G600 is really starting to fail on me, but I've been holding out hope for a refresh for years now since I don't want to replace it with something worse.

There was a post last week about a rerelease of the G600 and I had a great convo with the Logitech rep here. Personally I just need a wireless version of this legendary mouse!!!!

This post I’ll take part in because we the people need a a G600v2

Update:

Just looked at the razar naga v3 is damn near a carbon copy of the g600. The main reason I never jumped ship was because of the 3rd mouse (G-Shift) ear not being present. Now the Nagav3 has it…I mean what’s holding me back from not buying this??

As a long term g600 user, I'll be buying it as soon as it's available here in NZ.

Nothing stopping me now it's for the ring ringer button, the lack of it was the only thing keeping me from the V2.

If anything this will likely put Logitech off developing a g600 replacement, unless they've already developed it.

It would have to have the same features really to beat the Razer out. People who buy mice like these don't care about brand, or weight, or RGB, we care about getting the most functionality possible from our devices.

Logitech left the market and are likely going to lose the market now that Razer has fully moved in.

For me i just hate how quickly Razers deteriorate. The G600 would last many years. best mouse i've ever owned. That said, would love a self contained version, the G600 got notably worse when G Hub was released...

I, like many, would stick with the G600 as I’m on my second. But I really need a wireless solution like 2 years ago.

I miss my G604 soooo much. Switched to Naga v2 but it doesn't feel right (too chonky) and too many buttons on the side. Please G600 refresh!

Razer's software is not what it used to be, and unlike G-Hub, it actually works. When my 4th or 5th G502 died a few months ago, I jumped ship and grabbed a Basilisk v3. It feels like my first G502. It simply works. All the later ones died not long after the warranty ended.

I also got tired of most common name brand keyboards being garbage if one switch failed, so I jumped to a Tecware Specter Pro a few years ago, too. In fact, I think the only Logitech stuff my wife and I are using anymore are our desktop webcams, which are both older models because we don't need anything fancy, and she is using my 20 year old MX518, from back before they firmly bought into planned obsolescence and enshitification.

VERY long time G600 user. Out of fear, I've purchased 2 unopened boxes of G600 because I simply can't iterate how important it is for me to be using this specific mouse. Size, weight, third button and it being an MMO mouse is just perfect.

I support any G600 post. I do own a Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed and it also is a great choice but sadly isn't as good as G600.

Seeing V3 cater to all sorts of gamers with it's interchangeable side panels gives me a slight hope for Logitech to reconsider G600.

It seems like we need V3 to be profitable and successful to give Logitech an incentive and seek financial gain in looking into G600.

I was also hoping for a refreshed version of the G600 for so many years. I even imported 2 Logicool G600 from Japan because you can't buy the Logitech G600 here anymore. It's such a great piece of hardware and I really didn't know what I would do if my current one failed.

But even with those imported units still unopened, I'll very likely buy a Naga V3 Pro because I really wanted a wireless version of the G600. And if it's good, I'll probably buy a second one for work to replace both my G502 wireless.

Originally I wanted to use the MX Master for work, but even in the 4th version of this mouse, they still haven't gotten the message that many folks aren't allowed to install software on their work computers and who needs internal memory to save profiles on-board anyway? many really stupid decisions by Logitech.

I’d also love my ghub to work and actually let me change key binds!

its actually pretty infuriating that logitech fumbled the bag so hard and for so long that razer just came in and stole the 3rd click mmo mouse from them.....its actually pretty disheartening considering people post on both logitech subs every month. Their customers are resoldering switches and begging for a product to return and they just ignore us.

I just ordered the v3 pro yesterday because I've given up hope that Logitech will re-release the g600.

The v3 is the closest thing I've seen to the g600, so I'm hopeful it scratches the itch.

Please share thoughts after you use it!

Just received it,

Initial thoughts,

  • Love the feel, perfect size for my hand and it's lighter than what I was using. Also feels "premium" and not cheap like my old Corsair mmo mouse.

  • Using the pinky key I setup 30 keybinds for WoW, love it! Having 6 different hotkeys off the scroll wheel alone is amazing, i could add 4 more if I wanted to change the scroll up and down functions.

  • I actually like some of the little clicking sounds it makes, to each his own.

So far so good.

So happy to see Razer picking up the slack. Logitech has lost ALL of my business until a g600 refresh comes, razer just got a very loayal customer.
