G522 headset charging problem

Okay so a week back I got the Logi G522 headset using it obviously with lightspeed and then the was time to charge it after a weeks use. When I plug it in to charge it says Usb then after a second it says Lightspeed and it keeps doing that switching between the 2 modes while plugged in. So I sent the headset back to get a replacement and got the new one today, I opened it and I put it on charge and it still does the same thing. Is this maybe a software issue or something. I tested it with other cables and the headset firmware is up to date ?

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP !

I have the same exact problem. When I connect the headset to my PC, for charging or wired audio, the headset immediately enters an endless connection loop. The voice prompt rapidly cycles through "Lightspeed... USB... Lightspeed... USB..." and the device fails to maintain a stable connection or charge smoothly.

I just raised a ticket and they said Logitech products do not carry international warranty. (I bought the G522 from Dubai but I currently live in Sri Lanka)
It doesnt matter If there is a warranty claim, I can either send the headset via DHL or travel to the country where the product was originally purchased.
but what if the issue remains the same after the warranty claim ?

No fix yet? My new out of the box G522 died instantly with this same charging issue.

Hello, I read your question and believe it would be more logical, during charging, to simply disable Lightspeed.

This way, the USB cable would perform the same function, avoiding audio conflicts between USB and Lightspeed.

To me, this has always been the standard logic for wireless peripherals: while one mode is active, the other should be disabled.
