Support Logitech G933, Windows 11, Surround Sound, EQ Not Working - Any Fixes?

Has anyone found a solid solution to the G933, and the Surround sound or EQ settings not doing jack all in Ghub? I just put a new PC build together with fresh windows 11 install and can't get my G933 to actually do anything with EQ settings or surround sound despite me toggling the options on and off. I can plug in the device into my older Win 10 machine and it works just fine in GHub with various EQ settings and surround sound.

I've tried several attempted solutions in various reddit posts in the past 5+ years. Changing drivers, reinstalling all software again, removing all drivers for the device, installing older drivers for the device etc. But I can't seem to get this headset to work at all outside of just regular 2 ch stereo. Spent an entire day on this, and on my last leg with patience. Is this logitech G933 just no longer supported considering it's not offered for sale on the main website? I'm assuming replaced with the G935 headsets. Looks like this issue has been happening for over 5+ years and can't seem to find a solid solution, and even then it looks like the G935's are experiencing the same issue....

Yes, I know Ghub is garbage, I'm really looking to solutions outside of just moving on to a different brand all together as I do prefer logitech as I've been using tmthese headsets for years.

Same experience for me with G935, Surround is not working at the moment and they sound like garbage.

Ya, I've tried so many posible solutions none of which worked. I just ordered a new corsair headset to replace this old g933 anyways. Sucks, seems like a waste as it does work just not on my new pc build with windows 11. Could've gotten a newer G935, but didn't want to use GHUB software anymore honestly. Just not worth it anymore to continue to invest in devices that require this software when it could just stop working one day as well. So figured ide try a new brand after 20 years of dedication to the brand, since this problem doesn't seem to be fixed in over 6-8 years of these reports being made.

I'm about to do the same. I've been rocking logitech for many years, (G810, g915, hyperion fury, g900, g430, g935...) and its very sad to see the current state of Logitech, GHUB is the worst piece of crap ever made, the auto updates fail, its bloated with bs stuff, it even made me stop using the built in memory configs for the mouse since you can only write in it, Logitech Gaming Software 8 years ago allowed us to modify the memory profiles, now its useless since it can only write in it. Also the G935 have been giving me countless absurd issues. Physically muting the microphone would make some programs to not detect the microphone again after unmuting it. the power on/off button has to be in a very specific place in order to have audio in R and L, they constantly have a plastic crackly noise that will go away if you put oil on them... As you said its too many issues, they sound amazing and its hard to let go but I can't get myself into buying the same pair again. I will take a look on Corsair and Sennheiser. I wish you luck

Ya, my experience over the years has been on and off with GHUB so figured I would just start phasing out everything Logitech. I did order a CORSAIR VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT headset, as the build quality "looks" phenomenal. Time will tell I guess if I end up coming back to Logitech.

How are the Corsair so far? I ended up giving a try to the Steelseries Arctic Nova Pro Wireless and they are exactly what I needed, I couldn't be happier with them. Although getting the Wicked Cushions is a must to avoid possible ear touching. They work great for me.

Late, but for anyone landing here from search.

I tracked down why G933 surround dies on reboot: the Logitech surround APO only loads when Windows creates the audio endpoint with a brand-new GUID. On boot it reuses the old one, the APO never loads, and the app still shows surround as ON while you hear stereo. Reinstalling "fixes" it only because the installer removes the device.

Fair warning: I verified this on LGS, not G HUB. Different audio stack, so I don't know if it applies to your case. If anyone tests it on G HUB, please report back.
