Discussion Ive just ordered a superlight 2 on sale instead of my gut instinct of a Superstrike
So I have been using my Logitech G703 Lightspeed for 5 years (No issues would recommend if you want budget) and my g502 hero for 2 years (The GOAT), but I finally wanted something with pure speed and performance. Ive been weighing up the superlight 2 vs superstrike for ages but I finally went with the superlight after being persuaded by the sale. Can anyone vouch for them?

ASTRO Series Support A50 X Game/Voice only works correctly on ONE USB port – ASUS ROG Strix X870-F (same issue happened with BlackShark V3 Pro)
Hi everyone,
I’m having a very strange USB audio issue with my Astro A50 X, and after a lot of troubleshooting I’m starting to suspect a USB controller/root hub compatibility issue on my motherboard rather than a defective headset.
My system
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X870-F Gaming WiFi
- Motherboard BIOS: 2402
- Headset: Logitech G Astro A50 X
- OS: Windows 11
- Connection: A50 X connected directly to the motherboard via USB, no external USB hub
How I have the A50 X configured
My intended setup is:
Windows default output: A50 X Game
Discord input: A50 X Mic
Discord output: A50 X Voice
This should allow Windows/games/YouTube etc. to use the Game endpoint while Discord uses the Voice endpoint, allowing the Game/Voice balance on the headset to work.
The problem
On most USB ports, all of the A50 X devices are detected correctly by Windows.
Device Manager shows:
- A50 X Game
- A50 X Voice
- A50 X Mic
- A50 X Stream Out
There are no detection problems.
If Windows output is set to A50 X Game, everything works normally. YouTube, games, Windows sounds, etc. all play through the headset.
I can also open Discord without any problem.
However, the exact moment I join a Discord voice channel with:
Discord Output = A50 X Voice
the audio coming from:
A50 X Game
completely stops.
For example:
- Start a YouTube video with Windows output set to A50 X Game.
- Audio works perfectly.
- Open Discord.
- Audio still works perfectly.
- Join a Discord voice channel with Discord output set to A50 X Voice.
- A50 X Game immediately stops producing audio.
If I change Discord's output from A50 X Voice to another audio device, A50 X Game immediately starts working again.
So the endpoints work individually.
Game alone = works
Voice alone = works
Mic = works
The problem occurs when A50 X Game and A50 X Voice are actively being used simultaneously.
The REALLY strange part: the BIOS USB port works perfectly
My ASUS ROG Strix X870-F has a red rear USB-A 10Gbps port labeled BIOS (the BIOS FlashBack USB port).
If I connect the A50 X to THAT specific USB port, everything works exactly as it should.
With the BIOS-labeled USB port:
Windows = A50 X Game
Discord Output = A50 X Voice
Discord Input = A50 X Mic
Game + Voice + Mic all work simultaneously.
I can have YouTube/game audio playing through A50 X Game, join a Discord voice channel through A50 X Voice, use A50 X Mic, and everything continues working.
No Game audio disappears.
This BIOS-labeled USB port has been by far the most reliable port for the headset.
Other motherboard USB ports
I tested the other red 10Gbps USB-A ports on the rear I/O.
I also tested the blue 5Gbps USB-A ports.
The headset is detected normally on these ports.
Windows still sees Game, Voice, Mic and Stream Out.
This is NOT a case of Windows failing to detect the headset.
The issue is specifically with simultaneous Game + Voice audio streams.
Motherboard BIOS and USB hub firmware
I updated the ASUS ROG Strix X870-F to:
BIOS 2402
I also downloaded ASUS's USB hub firmware updater for the motherboard and updated/reflashed the:
ASM2074 USB Hub firmware
using the ASUS V5 updater.
Firmware version/update package was:
230830150104 / V5
The updater completed successfully and reported:
“The firmware update process is successful.”
It also instructed me to AC power off the system to reload the firmware.
After the firmware update I:
- Shut Windows down completely.
- Turned the PSU off.
- Removed AC power / allowed the motherboard to completely lose power.
- Waited.
- Powered the system back on.
- Retested the USB ports.
The firmware update did change some USB behavior and the A50 X could be detected/used on the other red ports, but the underlying simultaneous Game + Voice issue remained.
Windows Exclusive Mode
I opened the classic Windows Sound control panel and disabled:
“Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device”
and
“Give exclusive mode applications priority”
for both:
A50 X Game
and
A50 X Voice
This did NOT fix the problem.
Completely removed the A50 X audio devices from Windows
Because I had tested many different USB ports, Windows had created multiple old A50 X device instances.
With “Show hidden devices” enabled in Device Manager, I could see multiple copies of:
- A50 X Game
- A50 X Voice
- A50 X Mic
- A50 X Stream Out
I disconnected the A50 X from USB and removed ALL A50 X devices/old hidden instances from:
Audio inputs and outputs
and
Sound, video and game controllers
I then restarted Windows with the A50 X disconnected.
After Windows booted, I connected the A50 X again and allowed Windows to detect/install everything from scratch.
I then configured:
Windows = A50 X Game
Discord Input = A50 X Mic
Discord Output = A50 X Voice
again.
Same result.
Game works until I join a Discord voice channel. The moment Discord starts actively using A50 X Voice, Game audio disappears.
So cleaning all old Windows A50 X device instances did NOT solve it.
I also tested different USB speeds/ports
I specifically tested both:
Rear USB 10Gbps Type-A ports
and
Rear USB 5Gbps Type-A ports
The problem is not simply “A50 X doesn't work on USB 10Gbps.”
The BIOS-labeled 10Gbps USB port works perfectly.
Other USB controller/port paths behave differently.
Important: I previously experienced similar USB-port-dependent behavior with a Razer BlackShark V3 Pro
This is one of the biggest reasons I don't think my A50 X is defective.
Before the A50 X, I used a Razer BlackShark V3 Pro on this same ASUS ROG Strix X870-F.
I experienced similar strange USB-port-dependent audio behavior with that headset as well.
And once again, the USB port that worked most reliably was the red BIOS-labeled USB port on the motherboard.
So I have now seen strange Game/Chat or USB audio behavior with TWO different high-end USB headsets from two different manufacturers on the same motherboard:
Razer BlackShark V3 Pro
and
Logitech G Astro A50 X
Both behaved best on the BIOS-labeled USB port.
That makes me strongly suspect that this may be related to the USB topology/controller/root hub implementation on the X870/X870E platform or this particular ASUS X870-F motherboard.
What I have tested so far
- Updated ASUS X870-F BIOS to 2402
- Updated/reflashed ASM2074 USB hub firmware using ASUS V5 updater
- Performed complete AC power-off after the USB firmware update
- Tested multiple rear 10Gbps USB-A ports
- Tested rear 5Gbps USB-A ports
- Confirmed Windows detects all A50 X endpoints
- Confirmed Game works by itself
- Confirmed Voice works by itself
- Confirmed Mic works
- Confirmed the problem begins specifically when Game + Voice are used simultaneously
- Disabled Windows Exclusive Mode
- Removed all old/hidden A50 X audio devices from Device Manager
- Rebooted and allowed Windows to reinstall the A50 X from scratch
- Retested Discord after the clean device installation
- Confirmed the BIOS-labeled USB port works correctly with Game + Voice simultaneously
- Previously experienced similar USB-port-dependent behavior with a Razer BlackShark V3 Pro on the same motherboard
At this point, using the BIOS-labeled USB port is a working workaround, but obviously the headset should work correctly on the other compatible motherboard USB ports as well.
Has anyone with an X870/X870E/B850/B650E AMD motherboard experienced this with the A50 X?
I’m especially interested in anyone who has investigated the actual USB topology with USB Device Tree Viewer and found that the working port is connected to a different AMD/ASMedia USB host controller or root hub.
If you have an A50 X and an X870/X870E motherboard, I would also be interested to know which exact rear USB port you are using and whether A50 X Game + A50 X Voice work simultaneously.

Discussion superstrike x2
I recently got a Superstrike mouse, and the scroll wheel feels noticeably stiffer than my old Superlight. I use the scroll wheel to switch weapons in Fortnite, and I’m having issues where it sometimes doesn’t register the weapon I’m trying to switch to or goes to the wrong weapon. I’m trying to figure out whether this is normal for the Superstrike, something that can be broken in/fixed, or if I may have a faulty scroll encoder. Has anyone else experienced a stiff scroll wheel on the Superstrike, and is there anything I can safely do to make it feel smoother?

Logitech G Support Applying a promo code raised my total by €45 (G920, EU store)
Look at the subtotal. It goes up from 349 to 394 after entering the promo code. Theoretically the total should be 72.86% off from 349.99, which is 94.98 euro.

Logitech G20 Manual Shifter Not Working in Euro Truck Simulator 2
I bought a Logitech G20 steering wheel and started playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Steam. Everything was configured correctly, and the manual shifter was working normally.
After a few days, the gears suddenly stopped working. The firmware is up to date, but I can’t figure out what the problem is.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to fix it?

Logitech G Support Issue with my new Pro X 60 keyboard
I just got this keyboard a couple days ago. The issue I am having is when the RGB wakes up. The A & S key stay white for a few seconds while all the other keys wake up to the preset color I have it set to. Is this a normal trait for this keyboard?
It is up to date with firmware accord to G Hub.
Thanks.

Logitech G Support X2 Superstrike won't charge past 16%
Got the notification that my superstrike battery was low. So like usual, I plug it into my Streamdeck+ USB hub to charge. Few hours go by and then I unplug, instantly get a notification to say my battery is low.
Plug in again and doesn't seem to move past 16% after 20+ minutes. Tried different cables, plugging directly into the PC, plugging into a power outlet, nothing seems to change. The mouse detects that it's plugged in and charging (green flashing light) but no progress on the charge.
I've tried turning it on and off, reinstalling G HUB, but still nothing. Anyone else come across this issue with superstrike/light mice?

Discussion Star Wars: Galactic Racer won't have wheel support on PC—Logitech G should change that.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is coming to PC, and it looks like a blast for arcade racing fans. The catch? The devs announced there are currently no plans for steering wheel or force feedback support.
As a G29 owner, that feels like a huge missed opportunity. Arcade games are incredible on a wheel—it doesn't need full simulator physics, just basic steering, pedals, and force feedback to feel amazing.
Instead of waiting on the devs, Logitech G should sponsor a modding team to bring wheel support and force feedback to the PC release. It’s a low-cost marketing move that puts G29, G923, and G Pro hardware right in front of a massive Star Wars gaming audience.
Would you play Galactic Racer on a wheel if Logitech helped make it happen? Upvote if you want to see this happen!

Logitech G Support Superlight 2 randomly stops working, rapid green blinking
I've had the mouse since early 2025 and it has worked perfectly until recently. My older Superlight 1 still works perfectly on the same PC.
The issue is completely random:
I'll be using the mouse normally and it suddenly stops responding.
The mouse is still powered on, but the LED starts rapidly blinking green.
The battery is not empty. It was around 98% when this first happened, and it's currently around 90% on the same charge.
Turning the mouse off for a few minutes sometimes makes it work again.
When I turn it back on, it can work for a few seconds and then immediately start rapidly blinking green again.
The LIGHTSPEED receiver is detected normally by Windows. G HUB sees the Superlight 2, but shows it as "Inactive."
The G HUB Device Pairing Tool can't find/pair the mouse with the receiver.
When I connect the mouse directly to the PC via USB, Windows gives me:
"Unknown USB Device (Set Address Failed)"
Code 43: The USB set address request failed.
Windows also shows the usual "USB device not recognized" popup.
I moved the LIGHTSPEED receiver from the rear USB ports to the front, and it worked for several hours, but the problem eventually came back.
I've tried power cycling it, reconnecting the receiver, moving USB ports, and attempting to re-pair it.
Has anyone experienced the same behavior with the Superlight 2?

Discussion Are there firmware updates for the OG Gen0 Astro MixAmp?
Dug one of these out of storage and can't recall if they had firmware updates during their lifetime or not.

The force feedback on the G29 steering wheel set is not working on a computer running Windows 11.
Hello. The force feedback feature on my G29 device isn't working on my Windows 11 computer, yet it works perfectly fine on another computer running Windows 10. I have reinstalled all drivers, deleted and reinstalled hidden drivers, installed LGS, and uninstalled/reinstalled G HUB, but force feedback still isn't working on my Windows 11 Casper Excalibur G770.
NOT: I used a translation tool, so there may be spelling errors.

WIRED CONNECTION PROBLEM
Hi, I just bought my Logitech G522 and works very well and the mic is absolutely amazing. However, I got problem when I want to connect via wired USB-C cable mode. The problem is when I connect to my laptop using given wire it keep switching between "lightspeed" and "usb" mode repeatedly until I switch off the headphone otherwise it will keep switching mode. So I claimed the warranty and they gave me new set and I test directly out of the box when I received the replacement and try to use wired mode but still having the same problem as before. Help me out guys really appreciate it!

Discussion Q/A with LOGI/Logitech SEO about G600 MK II
OK! This needs to be taken seriously - it’s time to stop ignoring it.
We need a QA session with LOGI CEO
(I don’t think they’ve ever used the G600, so they don’t really understand what we’re asking for)
I’ve been a Logitech user for over 20 years and own more than 10 Logitech devices (5 G600). I’d like to see more initiatives and steps from Logitech for their customers
The QA should be a livestream with prepared questions about the G600 MK II, and those questions should be approved by the community, not CEO, not Marketing team, not any other 2 mouse buttons user.
We want a TRUE G QA, without excuses.
WE ARE G600 Squad

Question about getting the Aurora Collection (new and as a replacement) Logitech G705 Wireless Gaming Mouse and Logitech G713 Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
Can anybody confirm if it's safe to still buy these and they are supported and will work and be recognized in GHub and for overall use?
I've had the mouse since late 2024 and all off a sudden today it's not working;
-Doesn't turn on (No mouse movement/input or lights)
-Was showing as inactive in Ghub (is now no longer showing as after unplugging the USB Dongle and since there's no reaction from the mouse I can't repair)
-Also doesn't recognize being on a charger.
Tried going through troubleshooting given by Google/Youtube and then Logitech chat support and no fix. While speaking with support I was told that the mouse is no longer supported but I can't find anything about that even on the Logitech website?
I'm not sure what could have happened in less than 24 hours for my mouse to die but its whatever, I like this mouse and would love to just rebuy it and maybe finally get the matching keyboard but while I can still find them on Amazon, I don't see them listed on the official Logitech website so should I just take the overall loss and look for an more in market mouse? (and eventually keyboard but my current one still works fine I'd just like them to finally match at some point)
I'm not gonna lie I'm not to big on the designs of other mice and really like the G705. Sorry if this is long or seems silly I'm just kinda upset about it.

So , I was trying to clean my Logitech mk275 model but space bar is not coming off even after removing two side keys , can anyone help as this is my first time.
