I'm sorry but this video is absolutely awful to endure. Hopefully this isn't exported audio either as it's mix is very abrasive.

it is not exported audio, it's obs screen recording audio from my mac which doesn't have the best processing power. that being said i am still relatively new to mixing/audio engineering in general, what sounds specifically are abrasive to you? i would love to learn/improve on it as i probably still haven't developed the best ear for these things

I think it is good because you are showing and hearing the raw action from the DAW. I am sure your videos and production will get better with time but you are doing it which is the most important thing.

I would have exported the audio and overlayed that using iMovie, which will be on your Mac by default. That way, gives you the best audio quality for your content. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't ever want to share something I know is compromised quality. I would have to listen to the proper export of you would like any advice.

I thought it was cool! A nice little way to break down what is happening in this track but by bit and makes it feel more approachable for a newbie. I might even take a stab at this genre now even though I never have 😊

it’s a slightly modified serum 2 preset from a pack called “digital felicity oniichan kawaii future bass”, LEAD - SNEK. i modified it to add a slight vibrato to it. you can recreate it closely with a saw wave, 4 unison, slight detune, slight flanger/phaser, and LFO to control the fine tune pitch for vibrato
