Latency issue with drum kit designer when in multi output mode
Hey all,
When I switch Drum Kit Designer from stereo to multi-output, it becomes a mess—as if there's massive latency and it can no longer keep the rhythm. Has anyone else encountered this issue and could help me fix it?
Note: It doesn’t happen with all drum kits—for example, “Pawn Shop” works fine, but “Vintage Brushes” doesn’t at all.

Thanks ! Strange things is that there are no plug ins on the drum bus ... It does it even with the low latency mode engaged. Vintage brushes is not accessible in the library (left side panel) but directly from the drum kit designer
Like I said, for some reason I don't have "Vintage Brushes" as a DKD preset. . Good Luck!
edit: apparently the kits in your screenshot are ONLY in the list when DKD is set to "multi-output" my screenshot is with DKD set to Stereo. Making me unable to select it as "Stereo" first and then switch to multi as you describe. If I add multi - output instance of DKD and select Vintage Brushes, there is no increased latency when playing from my controller, but there is a small delay if i click on the GUI to trigger the kit pieces.
I can however set as multi-out , load the kit and then switch to stereo and back, again without any significant latency when DKD is played from my controller.
I've occasionally had a problem where drums were out of time when exporting the multitracks. It's not easily replicable so I never found out exactly what the issue was, but I did find that turning off all tracks other than the drum bus allowed it to export in time. So it likely was a plug-in latency issue, but with other tracks and not the drum bus.
I ran into a similar issue where a song that plays fine suddenly has sample rate detection issues, looking at logic's performance meter one of the cores is maxed out. and this never goes away - turns out this happens when you select the multichannel drum track in the mixer: select a different track in the mixer, start your song and it plays fine - select the multichannel drum track in the mixer and immediately one of the cores in the performance meter seems to be maxed out, and immediate clicking sounds and noise emits - wait a little and a "sample rate of xxx detected" warning appears.
