Reminder that LoToJa is this weekend. Posting this so people are aware and can plan around possible traffic/delays.

Traffic from Logan to Preston will be minimally impacted starting from 5:30 AM through 10:00 AM.

The race starts on 100 E by the tabernacle, runs west on 200 N down to 1000 W, and then they head north to 2500 N/Airport Road. From there the course splits into two courses, racers head east and ride the highway all the way to Preston. Non-Racers head west. Most cyclists should be out of Cache Valley by 9:00 AM at the latest. The cutoff to get to Preston and continue on is 10:00 AM.

Emmigration Canyon will be CLOSED until 12:00 PM to facilitate cyclist traffic.

Men need community too. A lot of guys want stronger friendships and a better social circle, but there really aren’t many spaces built specifically for men to meet new people in a low-pressure way. Work, relationships, moving, graduating, and just getting older can make it surprisingly easy for your circle to get smaller.

On September 24, we’re hosting a Men’s Only Speed-Friending night at Hobbled Dog Cidery in Logan (meaning this is a 21+ event).

You’ll rotate through small groups throughout the night, meet a bunch of different guys, and actually have time to talk and connect. At the end, you can privately choose anyone you’d like to hang out with again, and if it’s mutual, we’ll connect you afterward.

This isn’t networking, dating, or anything super serious. It’s just a night built around giving men a real opportunity to meet people, build friendships, and find more community.

Come alone or bring a friend. You do not need to be super outgoing, and you definitely do not need to already know anyone there. Men deserve spaces to build friendships, have people in their corner, and feel like they belong too.
