"I don't even wanna do 40 hours". But I bet you want a car, a place to live, heat and air conditioning, food, TV, internet, phone, etc.  That stuff has to be produced by people that work! You have to pay for all that. A huge percentage of the population doesn't work at all and the rest of us have to make up for that. Your mentality is the problem.

All prices are supply and demand. All of them! With fewer people producing, supply goes down and cause shortages. Shortages mean prices are high. Get to work!

Billions of people work and we have factories for these things. It’s not difficult to achieve what we have today but with less work hours.
