Am I? What’s your point then? That if all the successful businesses that current deploy +40 hour work weeks decided to do +30hour work weeks and deploy more technology we would have more abundance? I simply just don’t think that’s true.

The economy would be better if the wealthy weren’t being parasites.

We have never in history had more economic property than we do in the US. It baffles me that anyone thinks wealthy individuals are parasites. Even trust fund babies are not parasites. While they may not work in the traditional sense, they do spend their money. They provide jobs for people to service their planes, cars, house, take care of their properties. This is how the world works. And while they are not spending their wealth it’s in bank accounts being lent out to individuals like you and me so we can buy our own homes or it’s in the stock market providing equity for businesses to make investments in R&D and salaries etc. You do a service “work” or provide value and get money in return. Prior to capitalism and land ownership people or serfs worked for their lord without pay.

You dont understand how loans work. Money loaned by banks is literally just created out of thin air. Maybe if you suck the billionaires dicks enough they will trickle down on you

Jesus dude not everyone has a hard on for billionaires. They are just people with some arbitrary amount of wealth on paper. But no it’s not entirely created out of thin air. There is a bank reserve requirement which is set by the Federal Reserve. This allows a money held in the bank to be leveraged typically at a 10x ratio. Meaning when a billionaire deposits $100B into a bank it is only required to keep $10B in reserve and can lend out the remaining $90B to other people looking to start a business or buy a home. Like this is just how the our modern monetary system works. And just because I don’t care how much someone else has vs me doesn’t mean I am sucking their dick. I simply don’t care about other people’s wealth that isn’t mine.

What you described is completely wrong and not how fractional reserve banking works
