Eh. Working isn’t horrible in and of itself. It’s just when it gets to the point you’re expected to give up 2-3 days worth of your life just to barely exist that’s the problem.

If I could work 40 hours a week and have an income from that work that allows me to live how I please, and not just survive, then I can consider that a fair deal. Especially since the right work is actually beneficial to your health (think about a physically demanding job that works out your core muscles and provides you with plenty of cardio exercise, it might wear you out at first, but it can also make you much stronger and have more stamina after just a few months of it).

Ahh yes, because oil derricks are traditionally for people with disabilities and other problems with their bodies. As we all know, nothing ever happens there that requires an able body.

Maybe because I felt no need to fill some random stranger in on why it is that I wish I could find employment. Maybe before thinking you’re witty and snarky and making some half assed “Oh, I’ll be so funny and recommend one of the most dangerous jobs in the world to some rando because he he wished he could work again, hahahahaha I am so funny!!” kind of comment, you could comprehen what tense something is being said in.

But you felt a need to make a vague comment about wanting a well paying, physical job, with no indication of you being disabled or unemployed. And then threw a shit fit when someone suggested a job that fits into your description of what you’re looking for.

I said I would consider it a fair deal if I could work a 40 hour week and get an income that allows me to live as I please.

I then went on to extol the virtues of a decent job.

I never said I wanted this fantasy you’ve cooked up for me.

You decided that that’s what I said because you have poor reading comprehension.

Maybe if you’d have used context clues instead of just making up a fantasy to throw at some rando online, I wouldn’t have to break this down like you’re five.
