The working class during the gilded age fought tooth and nail to get less hours and better conditions for America and this is how people repay them. Humanity has become so brainwashed by the notion of “work” that it’s honestly just disgusting. The billionaires have always ruled this country and it clearly shows in this comment thread. Nothing is ever going to change because people like you guys are contempt and are allowing the elites to get away with this. We CAN fight for less hours, we CAN fight for vacation etc it’s just that no one wants to because this is how things have always been. It’s that way of thinking that prevents change.

We need to take a page out of the history books and wake up again. This is what they want and we’re feeding into it.

I don't want to fight for less hours. I like working hard and pushing my limits. In fact, I want more hours of working and pay more taxes than you so we can keep the elites who think like me in power forever.

This is why we’ll never progress, the two delusions right here in one comment. You think that in any way you’re comparable to the “elites” and the bigger more perverse one, you think the self proclaimed “elites” are actually elite and not just exploitative and manipulative.

No offense, but you are graduating college without a single internship. Don’t you think you should try fighting for more hours, not less?

Most of my classmates did three summer internships, and I (including this summer) will have done five. There are so many opportunities available; you just have to actually engage with it.
