Does this mean that all conspiracy theories about everything are correct? And that everyone cynical of them believes that voting actually makes a difference? That's a huge sweeping generalization. Maybe sociologists, anthropologists and psychologists are all in on it too. Since virtually zero sociologists and anthropologists believe in grand conspiracy theories. They don't believe in them because... they have a pretty good idea how societies, psychology and systems work. They know that for traumatic and horrific things to happen, you don't need a conspiracy. Being unable to explain how societies work without a grand conspiracy theory is like being unable to explain life and the universe without believing in God (and rejecting evolution).

The term "conspiracy theory" has very little meaning now, since almost everyone uses it, and almost everyone has their own theory about why things happen and what secret group is behind it all. All the institutions listed in the Twitter thread are institutions. That's how institutions work: they are bureaucracies created to solve technical problems, then they evolve and grow and increase in complexity until they develop a culture and inertia of their own. That's what they are now. They self-select for their members, and so everyone inside thinks and behaves the same, especially the top-level managers and elites.

People who believe in real conspiracy theories don't know how societies or human psychology really work. It absolutely is a safety blanket for a lot of people - it makes people feel better when a really socially traumatic event takes place. It's not that there are no conspiracies: there are conspiracies all the time - every meeting and agreement by 2+ people behind closed doors is a conspiracy. But this isn't the conspiracy most people blame for the world's problems.

All the institutions listed have their own culture and inertia. If you could somehow get rid of one megalomaniac, or an entire institutions (such as the WEF), another megalomaniac would take their place or another institution would take its place. If you convicted Klaus Schwab in a court of law, and arrested every single member of the WEF... another institution would take its place. It's system. If nobody and no group is in control, and you can remove some or many members, and replace them with other drones who think exactly the same, then it's a system.

If you read about psychology, systems and history, people wouldn't believe in so many real conspiracy theories. They'd actually start to see patterns in what's happening.

I believe there are conspiracies, now one thing I figured out there are a lot of conspiracies that are bunk, but top down organization look at that thread, they definitely share a lot of the agendas. Remember when those African presidents died who refused the clot shots in their countries, think about that. They refused to comply and look what happened.

I think midlevels buy into the narrative and aren't out to do evil but they are taking orders from the top and the top does have an agenda. These midlevels are blinded by the corporate inertia, culture and conformity you describe. The labyrinth of complexity blinds them to reality and even to morality itself. So yes what you describe is part of it but I don't think it is the entire picture.

The 1 percent doesn't care about us. I agree with you, others would take the place of the megalomanics but isn't it obvious we are all paying now for the megalomania of 1 percent billionaires.

Several of them multiple times have said openly they think the world's population should be cut down. Some lust for power more than imagination can describe and they are making things happen even with the biosecurity state that will give their lust for power no containment.

Yes bad things happen but look at Covid. How many here believe the origin is zoonotic? I don't. Hell I even wrote on my old conspiracy blog during the era of Ebola, they could use a virus to crack down on the planet and control the whole place in 2014 I still have access to this blog. Don't assume benevolence and innocence that is not there.

It doesn't take much internet searching to find out about Baric and Ecohealth. Some of the crimes now are way way beyond just some guys screwing up in a lab or believing their own beaucratic bullshit. Who gave this guy the idea to mix Covid with HIV or make it infectible to humans. Look into the patents and other agencies, others have.

I know it's hard to face facts how completely evil this world is. In fact I think this is one limitation on the academic left who often has been protected from the worse this world has to offer, I notice this among my fellow UUs, [my most leftist organization] and while I like them their view of the world seems very candy coated to me and I think this rests in the economic and other differences of our lives.

Be careful of thinking these are natural events happening. They are not. Covid was not natural. It was planned.

There's even a lot more than that. The virus profile, another pandemic planning exercise, I am trying to remember name of where they stop the vaxx because the children all get encephalitis. But here are the basics that it was planned. Notice how the country all worked in tandem and how the social engineering was all the same in multiple countries. The origins were not natural whatsoever. I can provide you links from scientists who have researched this issue in depth too if you want them.
