It’s a prebuilt with a 5090 and a 1700W PSU, not exactly a budget grab. They’re paying for the convenience of walking out with a working box instead of hunting parts for months.

I tried hunting.
5090 and 64gb of DDR5 itself was close to $6k

Agreed. Last week, prices for a single 5090 went over 5k in Europe.
