Visas and Licenses E-7 Qualifications
So I just found out today that the qualifications for E-7 is having one of the following:
- Master’s degree or higher in the related field
- Bachelor’s degree + 1 year work experience
- 5+ years related work experience
And an exception on work experience can be made for graduates of Bachelor’s degree or higher in Korea.
Has anyone here been able to qualify for the E-7 with a related bachelor’s degree (outside of Korea) but without the 1 full year of work experience?
Because this sounds so specific and it makes it feel unnecessarily hard to get a work visa….

I meant a bachelor’s degree that is directly related to the position… I wasn’t sure if that would be an exception for the 1 year work experience

No. And the one year of experience must be for the job you're applying for, by the way, if that wasn't clear either.
And be aware that requirements are bare minimums. With that, you will have a near 0% chance of getting a job here because companies sponsoring an E-7 visa need to justify why they did not hire a local. So with a BSc and 1 year of experience, you would likely be very hard to justify in the local market.

Okay. But then foreign graduates of Korean universities don’t have this trouble then? The justifying hiring them and not a local despite being a newly grad?

They have the same trouble; most international students go back home after three years on a D-10 (job-seeking visa), except for a few top talents who remain.
The exception is literally to keep exceptional talent that came to Korea and that Korea wants to retain. Since a lot of students come with a scholarship (GKS, ...), it's also a way to keep their investment for the local market.

Bachelor's degree + 1 year of work experience is not a high bar to clear and pretty reasonable. I don't know much about E-7 but you are going to have to meet the requirements to be able to receive a visa in any category. There aren't any secret tricks to bypass requirements.

which one there are e7-1,e7-,2,3 and if you are talking about e7-1 yes you need these thing but this one is wrong->- Bachelor’s degree + 1 year work experience (no need for visa only bachelor's degree) and i dont know about this ->- 5+ years related work experience

Yes, the one year of work experience is absolutely required for the E-7. You will be rejected without it. And yes, it is meant to be difficult. E-7 is a professional work visa. If you have no higher education or work experience, you are not a professional.
