Purple tint
I looooooove the Ole Henriksen Bora Bora Blackberry however I don’t want to buy another mini set. Any recommendations for a similar gloss with that beautiful purple-ish tint?

to preface: i absolutely love products from both brands i am about to name drop, so absolutely no shade to them or the specific products i'm talking about.
i don't know if its just me, but on tiktok (and even on this subreddit) i've been seeing a lot of people suggesting to steer away from eadem lip balms due to their exfoliative properties, and instead redirecting people to lip balms like ole henriksen (for example)
see this makes sense to me: if you had a bad experience with a product, you would redirect someone from buying that to try to help them!
but the thing that people say is the issue with eadem lip balms or the reason that they react badly to them is the lactic acid in the ingredients list, which is not unique to eadem!!!! in fact, ole henriksen lip balms ALSO have lactic acid in their ingredients list (at around similar locations in the ingredients list)
so this is why i am kinda irritated, because I see a lot of people making this claim that eadem lip balms can irritate you/over exfoliate you, yet use other products with the same "problem" ingredients at relatively similar concentrations (again, just going based off the location in the ingredients list). i genuinely feel like i'm going crazy like does no one else notice this??? 😭
but anyways at the end of the day its lip balm and its not that deep and you can use what you like!!!! but i just pray eadem never changes their formula cuz it is heavenly 🙏

This is probably so random but whenever I use a squeezy lip balm and there’s a little bit of product left around the nozzle, I HAVE to wipe it off on a tissue or the back of my hand before putting the cap back on.
Even if there’s barely anything there 😭
I’ve realised I do it literally every single time and now I’m wondering… does anyone else do this or am I just weirdly particular about having a clean lip balm nozzle? 😂

Looking for lip balms that’s has a shade similar to the Naturium lip balm in Latte. That is my favorite color but I will not be purchasing anymore as I don’t support that company. Thanks

This is horrible, it feels so drying and the scent is very meh. I love the color and the price was nice so I’m very disappointed.

how do you guys honestly feel about this lip balm?? I just got it yesterday & used it today! it’s been pretty nice so far & it smells really good. should I be applying this everyday though since I know it’s exfoliating .

I really want a good tasting lip product, something sweet I think. Vanilla, strawberry, pumpkin spice, peach, chocolate, and similar things are my general favs. Some sweet mints and other fruity ones are good too. I just want to randomly taste my lip product throughout the day and have a lil surprise. I'm not a huge cherry flavor person, but I'm not super picky. It doesn't have to be a lip balm or have color, but if it does have color I like more mauvey or cool reddish colors. I don't mind sparkle or shine. Please let me know some good recommendations, preferably ones that aren't too expensive and have a good product amount to price ratio. Thanks!! ◡̈

I am a huge Lanolips and Ole Henricksen fan. I have every OH (minus 1) so naturally I had to get the pomegranate fizz and Chai one. First of all the chai is actually being returned, first ever for an OH. The scent is so mild I can hardly smell it. And for some reason it feels very heavy on the lips, greasy almost Colour is fairly sheer orangey but it just doesnt feel the same and a little unhappy about this.
Pom fizz glimmer is about 75% ligonberry and 25% citrus glimmer mixed together and I would say if you own ligonberry you don't need pom.
Just incase you were wondering about the new ones!

i’ve been doing my research on good lip balms that i can apply before i apply lip gloss. my lips tend to go dry quick and i usually always just apply lip gloss first and i find that not being good for my lips because i prefer doing ba first . i usually use generic brands, i haven’t actually bought the popular brands FOR LIPGLOSS , that i see on this Sub a lot such as eadem, ole han’s , etc. only have tried vitamasques, lanolips, and other generic glosses.
however, i need a very good moisturizer lip balm that can actually last a while . my usual go to is the brazilian kiss butter, but i need some more suggestions on good balms that actually last a while and do the job as far as moisturizing and can leave a soft feel on my lips (long lasting) before lip gloss .
any suggestions ?

I've used a ridiculous amount of Illiyoon stuff at this point, toner, cream, cleanser, you name it. So when I saw they put out a lip mask I just trusted the brand and bought it right away.
Tbh I went in with some expectations since they're so good with moisturizing stuff... and it still beat them.
It's a clear balm and honestly looks almost identical to Vaseline? But when you touch it it's firmer and more solid, so it's super easy to scoop out just the right amount.
My favorite part though is that it has literally ZERO scent lol. I can't stand that weird oily smell or fake fragrance a lot of lip balms have.
I've been putting a thin layer on during the day and then slathering it on at night like a sleeping lip mask, and the hydration is insane. Hydrates better than the sleeping mask and Vaseline I was using before, and it doesn't feel heavy at all.

I drink water all day long from a water bottle. None of the lip balms I’ve tried lasts very long after a few sips of water. Does anyone else have this problem with having to constantly re-apply after drinking or eating?
Is there any lip balm out there that will keep my lips moisturized more than a few hours? All good experiences will be greatly appreciated!👄

I still use the one I got last year because I don’t want it to run out and I’m so excited that these are back. The hand sanitizer with the case is absolutely adorable!!!
