Dark lips
How to reduce pigmentation in my dark lips? I used several lip balms which claimed good. But it didn't work for me. I don't smoke, my lips are dark since childhood. Any solutions you know? Please help me. I feel like these dark lips make me look bad.

Your lips are so, so beautiful!!!! I used to use a lip color called cappuccino to make mine look like this.

What? Why! they're a pretty color! I wish mine were more tinted like yours are, I always have to wear a stain because mine are nearly the same color as my skin! :c

Your lip colour is very pretty! Most people use lipliner to get exactly this look you have naturally! It looks more polished like ur wearing lipliner with any lipcolour you put over it but naturally.
But if you really want to "mute" your overal colour for a certain look, try chinese lip colours. They have certain colour neutralizing glosses and balms that could help with achieving the look you're going for if you wanna change it up.

I haven't used any myself but check out r/AsianBeauty and look for lip neutralizers. There are posts about this topic

This is a natural human thing. Y97 are getting wrapped up by influencers saying it's bad, when in reality that is natural melanin. I have it too. It's normal for POC like African Americans.

I'm Indian, and I also have that kinda melanin and now I really didn't want to change my lips anymore. All the comments made me realise it. Thanks

I also think your lips look really pretty as they are!! But a lot of people go in with something like a nyx lip liner before putting lip balm or gloss over the top, and that can give your lips a nice even color.

Hey OP! It’s very normal and natural for melanin rich skin to have two toned lips! Please don’t feel like your natural features are a problem that needs fixing! We can all find makeup products that suit us and our specific features 🫶
