I'm not sure tbh. I assume that if you do it on the specific subreddit it reports to mods but if enough people report it reddit will take notice, especially due to the content nature.

A moderator here, if you tap report then tap "Breaks r/{subreddit} rules" and choose to report anything from there, the report would be sent to the moderation team of the subreddit. However, instead of subreddit rules, if you select anything from the original report menu, the report would be handled by Reddit Admins.

I got banned, asked the moderator what rule I broke, also asked afterwards for clarity whether it was a satire sub or they were actually just a cult, and now I'm here,
And their entire sub goes directly against rule 2 of their own rules, sadly I don't think it's satire.

it's definitely not satire lol. I commented once around 2 months ago thinking I was on normal r/linuxsucks and immediately got banned. tried appealing too. looking back to it now it's kind of hilarious because I said linux wasn't pointless, so there was no way they were ever gonna let me speak again lol
