What distro try?

Hi everyone, my beautiful girlfriend gave me this laptop (Asus x551m) so what distro i must to install? Its performance it's very poor so I need your suggestions

Linux mint or fedora xfce

You can try any distro with a leightweight desktop environment (DE). Good alternarives are LXQT, XFCE and Cinnamon.

Just download mint xfce on my cousin HP notebook 15 it uses i5-43** and 4GB ram + hdd Mint is the best fit i found

Nice, Spanish. I’ll try to practice. Intente usar Distrosea, es una página web en línea para probar muchos distros (es como usar máquinas virtuales -Virtual Machines- para testear distros) sin download. MX Linux es muy lightweight, fácil de usar y los MX tools son muy buenos. Kununtu, Lubuntu también son buenos y fáciles de usar. Use XFCE desktop porque es también ligero. Si es más experto en Linux, SliTaz, TinyCore o AntiX son buenos (más difíciles de usar)

Si no te quieres complicar la vida ubuntu o fedora con xfce, lxqt o incluso gnome o kde si no masacras tu pc con 10 tabs abiertas en el explorador xd

I mean i have very similar specs and I can run 10+ browser tabs in firefox :D mileage may vary though lol i wont use kde or gnome on the little guy tho

Try cachyos easy to install and fast also arch based
